Forbes came out with a top ten list of FRIENDLIEST COUNTRIES. The comments about this survey are interesting and shall I say, potentially controversial as most of the comments do not subscribe to the results of the survey.
Any thoughts?
1 Bahrain 2 Canada 3 Australia 4 Thailand 5 Malaysia 6 South Africa 7 Hong Kong 8 Singapore 9 Spain 10 United States

wow -- all ye people who love to read books, this one's for you:
On FB, Conrad de Quiros invited people to read his latest column article about the new technology that allows you to read and carry an entire library of 1500 books in one lightweight, 1/3 of an inch thick "monitor" without the glare of a computer monitor. I 'd rather not talk about its features here - best for you to check it out (make a G search) It's $259 (ouch, expensive, i know) but come to think of it, this idea just seemed to be not even thought of when we were children (maybe only in our futuristic, star trekky imaginations. It just strikes me as AWESOME!!!! (just look at the picture accompanying this post -- you gotta admit it's kewl!
Kindle's maker is Amazon. Barnes and Noble has come up with their counterpart offering, Nook (definitely better, according to Mr De Quiros, but he is a Kindle user)
Nook, being a progeny of the original idea, it's gotta be better. But for now, with this technology already functional in the Philippines, it would be nice to go KINDLING, ya?
'wanna go back to KINDLE-garten and move on and start reliving the fascination for books all over again.

it would have been the 26th but at 25 it got fixed the 21st of December part of me will always remember
"all the days weren't bright and sunny there were times we had no money" it hurts, it sucks, but that's reality drifted apart, now for eternity
a lot of words remain unsaid a lot of thoughts, dismissed instead no more of the "what could have been" ended, terminated, by events unforeseen
you passed on with hurts and pains i still live with them, no relief gained but i am moving on, do i have a choice? "find your happiness", said an inner voice.
eternal rest, may the Lord grant you i'll do my best with the boys, the two in the years to come December 21 will be a remembrance of this wedding anniversary.

Men kick friendship around like a football and it doesn't seem to crack. Women treat it like glass and it falls to pieces.” ~ Anne Lindbergh

you don't believe in ILOVEUs for you they don't say enough
but don't you feel the different meanings?
ILOVEYOU may not mean the whole world but it could mean a part of the world at a time
ILOVEU conveys different meanings at different places and different spaces of time
it means take care of yourself when you go to work today
it means eat well, don't skip meals i don't want you sick
it means sleep well, don't worry too much everything will be alright
it means cut down on your smokes I don't want you to get lung cancer
it means I am sleepy, I wanna sleep with you beside me
it means good morning, how was your sleep did you dream about me?
it means i am feeling mushy i miss you big time
it means I'm sitting here thinking about you did you miss me too?
it means I woke up with a smile today did you blow me a kiss?
it means i was crying last night I was jealous, damn that hurts!
it means my back is sore wish you were here to kiss it better
it means i can feel your pain in your ribcage 'wish I could kiss it better.
it means I hugged and kissed you in my mind it felt good , i want more than imaginations
i know the words ILOVEYOU could never contain nor convey all the real feelings inside
somehow it is inadequate but never insignificant

Yehey!!!! Found my favorite piece in my small collection of small things -- a stainless syanse! 'Thought I lost it for good but found it when we moved stuff out of the sari-sari store in front of my house.
I'm a happy jeanie!
