Washing away the BITTERNESS Feb 2, 2008 12:50 am Mood: 110, 3862 Views There may be times when we become so miserable and ask ourselves why God allows us to experience unbearable pain. God doesn't delight in our misery. Pain is God's way of purifying us and making us better persons. And when he allows us to experience it, it doesn't mean that he doesn't love us. We may have been destined to love the person who cannot love us back, but that doesn't mean that life ends here. We fell in love with a person who can not be ours, but that doesn't mean there is no one who can be. We have loved and hurt badly, but that doesn't mean the pain will never pass. Everything that happens to us happens for a reason, and as the saying goes, Sometimes the person who makes us happy is the same person who can hurt us and make us cry. It is perfectly alright to feel sorry for losing them, but we cannot be sorry all our lives. It is okay to cry ourselves to sleep at night, but we can not shed our tears for them forever. We cannot cry every night at all our lives. It is okay to think of them when we wake up in the morning. But we cannot let them control our thoughts forever. I guess we have been sorry long enough. We have shown so much regret already. It's over; we have to accept that there could never be any "YOU and ME" anymore. They are gone and have moved on with their lives. We have to realize that we should not allow ourselves to be left behind following their shadow. We have to move on and find our own happiness, even if it means not being with them. Let us always remember that love isn't love if doesn't hurt. And it is better to be hurt by love than not to be hurt because we were too afraid to love. The only way to move on is to accept reality. Sometimes, the love what we are looking for is right in front of us, too close for the eyes to see but just the right distance for the heart to feel. Sometimes we hold back our feelings, not because we're scared of falling for the person but because that person has always been meant just for our dreams. Pag ba nawala ako hahanapin mo ako?
