Into your hands I commit again
All i am for you Lord
You hold my world
In the palm of your hand
And i Am yours forever.

Jesus i believe in you
jesus i belong in you
You're the reason that i live
You're the reason that i sing
With All i am.

I'll walk with you, wherever you go
Through tears and joy
I'll trust in you
And i eill live in all of your ways
And your promises
Forever.

I will worship
I will worship you Lord.

LIFE's Struggles and meanings Jul 12, 2006 12:40 am

Life has always some ups and downs
Times when our weaknesses clouds our visions
We feel left out with our expectations
And suddenly our purpose in life suddenly lost to realization.

Some struggles to bring meaning to their lives,
Some work as hard to claim success,
Some let life pass without knowing it's worth
And never tasted their fruits of struggles and success.

Those undescribed,ambrosial mornings
When a thousand birds were heard gently twittering and ushering the light.
Have you stopped for awhile to ponder and feel
The serenity, the infinite promise of such mornings?

When dark clouds of dust hovers above us
When a storm threatening to pour
When a sudden wave tower tall over us...
There, I'll be...

I will be there,
I may not promise that forever i'll be,
Far away with the sunshine, look up ..
There...I'll be

Can it be wrong? Jul 9, 2006 8:01 am

I have no special bed
i give myself to those who offer love
Can it be wrong?
Lonely rivers going to the sea
give themselves
to many brooks in passing.

So it was me
undiscovered and alone
till someone says the magic word

You'll see me then
some weekend waiting
and if you do..say hello.

a PIGMENT of my THOUGHTS Jul 9, 2006 7:56 am

...sometimes I'm sorry for love once known
it doesn't justify the years i spent remembering
i was always timid about your loving me anyway
knowing the eagle doesn't hunt flies
and that worlds were larger than our love.
but i am happy still
that even for a moment
you laughed in my direction
and chased my nakedness down a lonely desert
it was just maybe a short while
but it is worth the lifetime i spent looking for LOVE...

...and knowing you tried to love me is enough.

"Eye for an Eye and Tooth for a Tooth" Jun 27, 2006 11:01 am

The Sharia'a or islamic Law, based on the revelations received by the Prophet Mohammed, is a complex system that inclused Bedouin's perception of justice of "Eye for an Eye".Religion is the State and the State is Religion, they are one.The quoran indicates the crimes against society and Islam, and then defines punishments.A thief, for example after several overt offenses wil have his right hand severd. This offender is dealth double blow for now not only missing a hand but he must eat in private as he must use his left and, an Islamic Taboo.Public floggings are given for a variety of crimes, even today in the 20th Century. There are three crimes that carry the death penalty;Denial of Islamic Faith, homicide, and adultery,Capital punishment is usually death by decapitation unless unusual circumstances dictate a life sentence.Another method of capital punishment is stoning, also continued until now.Punishments are carried out in publc to set example, deterring other possible offenders. These punishments may appear harsh to others and specially to westerners, but beheading is swift and more humane than most methods, but no more than the Arab is shocked by our high crime rates in the west. The crime rate of Saudi Arabia , the heart of Islam is said to be one of the lowest in the World.

A MAN can legally marry FOUR WIVES Jun 27, 2006 10:34 am
260 Views
In Islam, according ti the Holy Quran, a man can legally marry up to four wives,as long as he provides equally for all of them. This equality means fairly, justly, morally and economically. The condition of multi-marriages is impossible for most men to uphold therefore most take only one wife.

All over the World weddings are important social events when friends and relatives come to visit, some often travel from long distances to participate in the wedding activities.Throughout the varying regions of Arabia, there are an assortment of wedding customs but there is always sure to be plenty of eating and dancing at the parties.

Segration between men and women still is evident with the men having their own separate party with perhaps arab music ans capacious meal of lamb and rice, dates, pita bread, side dishes and coffee.

The Women party consist of music, drums, singing and dancing.Coffee, tea, dates are served in abundance before the traditional Arab meal of lamb and rice. After the meal late in the evening, the bride often arrives to greet her guests.in some cases, the only man in sight is the groom with his bride and all te other women who are not related to the groom will have to cover up.Sitting upin their elaborately adorned chairs of hno, the bride and groom greeted and congratulated by the women. The music continues and women will dance before the newly wed.

LIFE behind a VEIL Jun 26, 2006 4:18 am

Although the traditional role of women in Saudi Arabia has changed along with modernization, most customs have remained as they were centuries ago.Saudi women still live in privacy and wear the veil outside the home. They are not seen unveiled even inside their home by men outside their immidiete family. In there secluded life they often view the o utside world through the closely carved wooden screened balconies that allow them the vantage point of seeing without being seen, mch as their veil and blackcloak that provide them while in public. At their homes visitors are segregated with the women gathering in a separate roomd from the men.
Segragations begins early, with the young boys and girls begining their education in separate schools. The complicated rules of segragation protect women from gossip if they do not associate outside their family circle.
Women do not drive at all in Saudi Arabia, not even bicycles, nor do they work in the stores or offices. They are however, employed as doctors and teachers in many hospitals and schools throughout the kingdom. There are even women's bank, and where only womens maybe employed.Don't be misled however for the women of Arabia are not entrapped in their lifestyles and they will be the first to tell you so, nor are they considered inferior because of this way of life, instead they are highly respected and pampered.
