My life has never been
the same
now I face each day
with hope in my
heart..that it
will be a lot
better
than it had been
gone are the days
when I worry
too much..
for the people
around me..
it`s not that I
stopped caring
it`s more about
thinking of myself
a little bit for
a change..
knowing my limits
knowing when to stop
Is that being selfish?
I do feel it is not..
Helping is one thing..
leaving some
for yourself?
you got to think
about that too..

A sad start..

What a way
to start the
New Year..
I lost my sister
she had been in a coma for
more than two years..in
a vegetative state..every
now and then she opened her eyes
but that was all she could do
we`ve been close and yet she
couldn`t even recognize me
what`s harder than seeing
a loved one suffering
and you can do nothing
to help..except I guess
to pray..that her
sufferings end..
now her sufferings did end
God took over and I am
thankful..

If you are to love someone
do not give everything
leave some for yourself
that when s/he finds someone new,
or you feel his/her love isn't true
you still have something
to hold on to
you got to have your pride
if not the strength
to move on
staying in the rain
will hide the tears
but don`t stay that long
for that will soak you up
dry yourself and go
where there is warmth
yes a part of you was torn
but you can make yourself
whole again.
things do change
and feelings too
When this happens
there`s nothing
you can do..
but why live in misery
and despair?
why loathe for someone
who`s already gone?
someone with a warm heart
that suddenly turned cold
the love that once was tender
Now you two became strangers
hard to accept but that`s
how it`s gonna be
So if you'll gonna love,
leave something for yourself
It takes a while to have the courage
let the fire melt down
with all the passion
and move on to a new direction
Teach your heart and may it learn
whatever will be, will be,
As fate will have it
only feelings change
Just give the best of yourself
when you have found The One,
Take the risk, and the chance
When two people are meant to be,
There's no reason
for them to break apart.
And so it goes that when the
two of you aren`t meant to
be together.. actually
you have nothing

My little sister is gone..

My sister died today
after two and a half years
of being in a coma
she had been fighting
but succumbed to an
infection that was
detected too late
she`s finally resting
in peace now..
she`s in a better place
now..with no pain
no more sorrow..that`s
what I would like to think
it`s just sad to lose
someone you care for..
someone who you know
loved and cared for you too
but that`s how it is
you`d rather see them
leave..than see them
in constant pain
I wasn`t even there
by her side when she
died..she expired an
hour before I arrived
I didn`t even notice
that she`s already gone
not until the nurse
came in and told me so
And as I again stared
on my sister`s face
I noticed an inner peace
she looked relieved
surely she `s now in a
better place
And by the way..
her name is Marilyn

What we had is
something I
won`t forget
how I wished that
it never ended
but the flame died
down and I myself
do wonder why it did
should have held on
but maybe it`s better
this way..
at first it will
really hurt but
it will pass..
bringing back the glow
is now out of the
question..you don`t
need me now..and
I know you`ll
be just fine
