The oddity of it all..

And it happened..
it left a bitter taste
in my mouth..
if only it can be just that..
a taste I can spit out..
then it will be gone..
in no time..
but the oddity of it all is that
I kept on chewing on it..
unmindful of how
awful it tasted..
it doesn`t make any
sense at all..
it happened..and so
it may happen again..
but hopefully not
in this lifetime..
gladly I learned my
lessons well

In these hard times..
I`m supposed to be worried..
but no I`m not..for you`re there
giving me the courage to go on
you`re there with your sweet love
and you need caring..can I ever say no
to you? Can I ever say I give up?
You have so much faith in me..
you believe in me..you love me..
and I can never let you down..
