People who know how to brighten a day with heart warming smiles and with kind words they say People who know how to gently impart the comfort it takes to cheer someone’s heart, People who know how to always come through when there’s anything they could possible do, People who know how to willingly share, who know how to give and who know how to care who know how to let all the warm feeling show are people that others feel lucky to know.
Amanda Bradley
...to all that somehow touch my heart here is FFF thank you so much...thank you.
Treasure every shining moment that comes to you today Gather each new glimpse of beauty that life may bring your way Store your treasures in your heart, and every now and then Lift them from your memory and enjoy them all again.
The sky is not as always a clean bright blue Sometimes dark shadows and black clouds break through, But back of the shadows the sun is agleem And with its return a new hope will beam...
Take time to care for others and to let them care for you... Take time to understand their needs and all their problems too... Take time to smile and be a friend take time to share and give... Fill precious moment’s every day with time...to love and live...
May I find serenity in the sun and the shadow, May I bend with the winds of adversity yet never break. May I grow, through all the seasons of my life in dignity and grace, May I reach ever upward towards the stars.
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Max Ehrmann, Desiderata, Copyright 1952. The greatest poem ever written.
What is it going to take before we realize how absolutely wonderfully specially and blessed we are? We are a human being, which means we are endowed with everything we need to master this thing called life. We are not human becoming or a human could be. We are being now all that we are born capable of being. Why are we acting like there is something else we need? Isn’t life enough?
The valley of comeuppance teaches us that we are all held accountable to the universe for everything we think, say, and do. The energy of dominant thoughts and words creates conditions in our lives.
Oh God, not again, let me not surrender. Let me feel You and see the light. Let me see u in all the things, in all the people, let me realize that yesterday can’t hurt me now, neither that these can hurt me tomorrow. Let me feel this vigor…the victory of the great...let me have this…in this valley of life.
