Act 1 Scene !

Girl:
"I have been so blinded when everyone has been telling me
am making a fool of myself, carrying on a relationwhip with you.
I trusted you beyond reasons, that I was even wiilling sacrifice a lot of
my happiness for you. How can you betray me by having a relationship
with my best friend?"

is blame in this situation? The girl loved so much? or the boy betrayed
her feelings? Or the best friend?

Act 2 Scene 2
Boy:
I cannot believe everything changes the next day. That when I woke up
you are gone without a word? Now you are back, believing all will be the ? Don't I deserve an explanatoin? Will you just pretend nothing happened?

Again, Will you be brave enough to put a closure to something left opened for a long time?
Will you be able to move forward with an open-ended realtionship? Until how long will you last? Is a chance for a reconcilation under the circumstances?

Pretty soon am turning 70 which means 7 decades will have passed and those are many years going through the ups and downs of life. I tend to_ remember more my childhood these days, when going back makes me feel unstressful, unworried and without scarring problems because all I did was grow up. I was privileged having parents who_ provided me more than enough.

You can say I was a spoiled but made my parents proud, when I finished my education with ace records. I grew up without having to_ wash and iron my own clothes and called to_the table when meals were already cooked and served ready for eating. I lived for myself alone during those days.

It_ was when I married that I faced the rigors of life. I learned to_ work hard
to_ provide for my . Taught them how to_ keep a house because I had to_ earn a living. No regrets though all now keep their houses right and assist their spouses, having blessed and happy homes.

Now, comes the part, that if I had not known how to deal with marriage and life as a whole, will I have grown old to my age like this? A lot of ifs to_ reflect on but they can be just thoughts for now.

Since the majority of responders in blogs here are somehow seniors, let me share something. Nah! These are not from me, but the younger minds can easily draw from it.

1. They know thatthe pursuit of and material goods isn't about their life anymore. Family and friends are more important. They tend look after other people than keep amassing more riches, so they donate or do volunteer works.

2. They have lived through historial . Some went past wars, others political transitions and economic upheavals. Contributory to progress yes! but they have also caused issues that have been carried foward like global warming, nuclear discovery and space exploration. Despite, they recognize the newer generation shall take care of these and not them anymore,

3. They all know that their ace over the younger set is their gathered experience. Experience have taught them that logic alone will not convince the young minds. The roles played by listening, empathy and other emotions will have a truer bearing. These will be learned later on by the young professionals when it is their turn to get older.

4. They do not truly believe that the good old days were really better although they would impress on it most of the time. And they marvel at the young people's untainted talent, blind optimism and endless energy that characterize the present generation.

5. The narcisstic attitude no longer prevails, as they have learned to accept that beauty fades and that they have weaker metabolism and already have wavering faculties. Instead they prefer to look out on their sons, daughters, grandchildren, etc.

6. They find technology acceptable but will not be ruled by it. They can give it a go but it is not make their priority. They just let the young take care of it for them.

Lack of Sleep

For a senior to_ have a day all good and going, it is important to_ have at least 6-8 hours of sound sleep. Am sure you will agree, even if you are not a senior yet. It is just normal for your body to have a complete rest and get re-energized.

What do you do if you have a room mate who does not respect that? The fact that you have someone sharing your room, you should at least be wary and respectable for the other occupant. I find it so annoying, when my room mate cannot sleep and puts on the boobtube, within hearing, throughout the night, because it is her means for a hypnotic spell. She is an insomniac in other words. Not only that, her relatives in Manila would do a video call during my sleeping time (past 9PM) and she would converse with them, without ever lowering her tone. If she didnt use her dialect talking, then I would find that acceptable. At least she honors me an eavesdropping circumstance. But kidding aside, it gets to_ my nerves. I can't find the right words to tell her this, without her being embarrassed. Can you tell me how diplomatic can I do it?

I know it is the price of leaving my home in the Philippines!

Resurrection Gave Death

The Lord's Resurrection has ended death with death. Death because His Resurrection ended the death of humans, in bringing forth the beginning of what is called "eternal life". So when humans die, it's not considered death but they get a new leash on life. Their death becomes ended. That is being confirmed when our Lord Jesus Christ rose life on the third day. Physical death need not be feared then.

Good Friday is said to be the darkest or blackest Friday but because mankind got saved the coming of Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice of death on the cross, it's thought otherwise, hence the term, "Good," despite the death of our "Messiah!"

Betrayal

The gist of the morning homily today is about the betrayal of Judas. He sold our Christ for pieces of silver. We all know he couldn't bear the sin he committed so he took his own life to stop feeling guilty.

Betrayal is about a loss, a loss of trust, in fact. You lose your faith and confidence in a person, which is a sentiment that is hardest to accept and cope with. It can result in a trauma, that takes away your sane thinking. Betrayal accounts for disloyalty and disclosure of what is kept as a secret. Someone who prioritizes self-interest over the welfare of another is another form of betrayal. Who wants to have a spouse or a partner cheating on you? Or this person who constantly lies to you? Would you accept a friend stabbing your back?

Ergo, allow me to ask, have you ever been betrayed during your lifetime?

“Make for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”
—Colossians 3:1

Before you get caught in the crazy cycle of hurt and forgiveness, try shifting your glance away from the one who hurt you and setting your eyes on the One who has saved you.”

If you want to live a happy, healthy, and blessed life, then learn how to forgive.

The Broken Prayer does not mean literally as you are understanding it. It is prayer done in all humility because of desperation and hopelessness. It is surrendering to_ Christ, putting_ everything into His hands, during the time of your weakness and vulnerability. It is during such time that He responds. In fact, He is sure to reply whether it is to your liking or not. But He chooses His time in doing so, which sometimes you may not even believe. Always believe in the power of Broken Prayer.
