MY HALLOWEEN SUPER BOY Nov 1, 2006 9:32 am Mood: giggly, 642 Views I bought my six-year-old son's Superman costume at Shoppers' drug Mart two days before the Oct. 31st Halloween. He was very excited and proud being the man of steel. He wore the outfit in school yesterday onto their Trick or Treat stuff with his three cousins of the same age at around six. When he went home, he got a big bag full of goodies like candies, gummy worms, chips, assorted chocolates, lollipop, a kid's toothbrush and more. THE DAY I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER Oct 26, 2006 3:41 pm Mood: gloomy, 600 Views I always remember how sad my canine friend when I left him behind for the second time in Dec. 1996. I promised him that when I come back, I'd bring him to where I am. Our bonding was so great because when nobody understood me and no one knew my bisexuality, it was he who felt my pain in his heart. It was he I pour my heart out and he'd place his paws on my shoulder to calm me down.So when I went to Canada again, I worked hard and tried to save some money while asking some officials on how to bring my Boarder Collie/Bernese Mountain dog to Toronto. But my youngest sister came to me one day asking for help so I needed to provide her food and shelter for several months. My employer was paying for my place but my sibling was not allowed there so I found a one-bedroom apartment for her. Then my pet became terminally ill but no one bothered to tell me. Had they informed, I was more than willing to send more money as I did for them for years. Then my dog passed away and that was the only time they let me know. Imagine the outburst of tears, my scream, my sadness, my pain. Had I foreseen that my dog and I wouldn't be together once more then I certainly would try everything to be able to bring him here. He's still greatly missed as of this juncture. We weathered the storms together, he stood by me all over again and he gave me his life in order to protect me. Who will ever forget this kind of canine companion? I do regret my decision in that fateful day. -d4t 1 comment
