Murdoch keen to make Borat sequel

Sacha Baron Cohen could be in line to make Borat
Twentieth Century Fox say they are keen to make a follow up to the movie.
But the project is far from certain to go ahead, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
First, Baron Cohen is making a film based on his character Bruno, an Austrian fashion guru.
Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp, appeared to signal at a media event in New York that a sequel to Borat was definitely going ahead.
He said he had seen the film three times and had "laughed like hell".
But Fox spokesman Chris Petrikin clarified the situation later.
He said: "We're eager to work with Sacha again, and we've had casual discussions about a sequel, which we'd love to do, but at this point it remains too preliminary to discuss."
Borat is nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapated Screenplay and also earned Baron Cohen a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

KUWAIT (KUNA): Women play a fundamental role in building societies and their dignity must be preserved at all times, said Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah on Saturday. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the inauguration of the third women and children forum entitled “Domestic Violence Against Women”, he said such gatherings were an opportunity to bring together experts from the religious, legal, educational, and media fields to tackle issues of violence against women. For his part, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Mansour Al-Mansour said the Kuwaiti constitution guaranteed that no discrimination was exercised against women.
He said domestic violence became more threatening when it was not reported and kept within the family, thus negatively affecting a woman’s ability to function within the household, as well as her psychological and health status. Al-Mansour noted such violence could be intentional or unintentional, such as when women were made to bear responsibilities they could not withstand. The three-day forum comes as part of activities of the Standing National Committee for Celebrating the Arab and International Family Day.
