Kuwait sandstorms....

The sandstorms currently blanketing Kuwait have badly damaged agricultural produce across farms. Farmers said that the dust that gets transported by these sandstorms have afflicted farming. They went on to say that they will be taking extra efforts, to irrigate their fields in order to 'wash' off the dust that has settled on farms. The agricultural areas house around 3,000 farms used to promote vegetable production. Several items are grown like tomatoes, potatoes, cucumber, lettuce, pumpkins that covers around 50% of consumers' demands.
