My favorite day Thursday, last working day, finally i got off two days. Staying alone without any sound of music nor friends visited me. My attention focus on the smell of food being cooked at the restaurant down stair. The exit fan just opposite to my window where i'm sitting ngeeeeek. and my clothes too smell terrific. Doing the same thing at work for 27 years is a bored one. I guess i need something exciting one.

I'll let another tear drop fall to wash away the pain.
I'll let another tear drop fall to wash away my shame.
Another little tear drop will wash away your touch
One more little tear drop for memories that hurt so much.
I'll let another tear drop fall to wash away the years.
And one more little tear drop to wash away my fears.
If I sit down and cry hard enough and let the tear drops fall, Maybe I will forget and won't remember you at all.

 Kuwait News!!!!
About the situation of expatriate workers, human trafficking and the US’ criticism of Kuwait’s charitable activities, Al-Khorafi said “this is an attempt of a strong country to interfere in the affairs of a weak country. We are not angels and we sometimes commit mistakes but these should not be compared to what is happening in the US. If we look at the case of Mexico, the US is exploiting millions of Mexicans who work on its farms. Despite our mistakes, we exert tremendous efforts to develop our laws to protect human rights, hence, it is not right to issue reports that tarnish our reputation. We have a Ministry of Social Affairs which protects the rights of expatriate workers, an Interior Ministry which implements the law, a judicial system and parliamentary committees which protect any person from all forms of abuse. What is surprising is that the criticism came at a time when we are enjoying good relations with the US.”

 Kuwait News
On the presence of US forces in Iraq, Al-Khorafi said “US forces should withdraw from Iraq and Iran should play a positive role in the country and it should ensure the stability of Iraq, which should not pay the price for Iran’s problems with the US.” Expressing his concern over the continuous rise in oil prices on the global market, Al-Khorafi stressed the deterioration of the international economy will continue if the US does not do anything to prevent the weakening value of the dollar. On the internal status of Kuwait, Al-Khorafi said the Kuwaiti democracy is on a decline and that sectarian and tribal clashes have increased with the five-constituency system, noting that Kuwaitis want results, not slogans. “If we absorb the lessons we learnt from our past experiences, then the next stage will be better and will lead to results that citizens have been yearning for,” he opined.

Powers pressure on Iran unjustified; US forces should withdraw The current situation in the region is a result of the intensified but unjustified efforts of the US and other western countries to deal with the Iranian nuclear file, Parliament Speaker Jassem Al-Khorafi said Sunday. During an interview in ‘Adwa’ - a television program aired on a Kuwaiti satellite channel on Sunday, Al-Khorafi warned of the dangerous repercussions of the US and western countries’ provocative approach to the Iranian nuclear issue. “Iran is a country with its own strategies in the region and threats are not necessary to stop it from going on with its nuclear program. It is also surprising to see that Israel is being allowed to continue its program while Iran is being asked to stop its nuclear program. Iranian officials have repeatedly assured the international community that the Iranian nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, not for warfare,” Al-Khorafi explained. He also expressed his satisfaction over the recent statements of the Iranian officials who assured the international community that they will not use their nuclear file to wage war in the region. He then underscored the need to solve the issue through a peaceful dialogue and added that the US should respect Iran’s autonomy, instead of dealing with Iran like it is one of its states.
