| is it the looks?.. |
Jul 14, 2008 3:40 pm 960 Views | everybody asks..quite frankly, i say it's the looks, primarily..but it does not necessarily mean that i settle for the looks alone..the looks is what attracts me to someone, to get to know that someone, to see if there is substance, for a relationship to bloom, prosper..towards the end, when i can say that i have found that someone i'm looking for, she may not have the looks after all, anyway.. ..and she may not want me..not her kind of guy..
we can't help it, it's our nature to go first by what we see before we go any deeper..we are not animals, were no dogs or whatever kind there is where they just go at it.. ..
our senses attracts us to one another, the more they are alike, the better we understand..as to me, i'm flexible enough to have some qualities i look for missing, with other qualities i deemed essential for a healthy relationship, compensating for the missing ones.. ..
as for the physical attributes, i'm an ass/behind kind of a guy, not the boobie type.. ..i can't help it, i love a well-rounded behind, the curves from the waistline down to the thighs and knees, my oh my.. ..that's my weakness.. ..curvy to me is sexy, not skin and bones like how models look.. ..am i drooling yet?.. ..sorry..
there you go..looks is there to attract people to you, but it's really what's inside that makes people wanna stick by you..that's why it's so hard....i'll find her.. ..

| are you old fashioned or the now fashioned? |
Jul 14, 2008 10:29 am 732 Views | of course i'll be biased.. ..it's the values i was taught and brought up in..you are probably thinking old fashioned, right?..
i was born in the now fashioned values, even though i'm this old.. ..huh!.. ..yes, we were all brought up in the now fashioned values..how could it be?, you ask, simple..growing up, we grow up by the signs of the times were in at that time..confusing?, kinda, but not really..
times recycle, do you agree?..look at the fashions, they come back around after so many years, about every 20 to 30 years..
when we were in our adventurous years as we were growing up, we were all venturing into the wild side..some would say, no, not I..i beg to disagree..each one of us had broken house rules, right?, just so to find out for ourselves why it is forbidden to do this or that..most may not have been as riskier as some, but everybody did venture out of their comfort zones, one way or the other..what brought this up?..these were the years that shaped our thinking, our values..
the values are our MORALS..by what morals do you believe/live in?..if you live by the morals of your church or by the standard of conduct of the times you live in now, is when values differ..the church have set centuries old moral standards and are very strict at that, compared to the now that adapts to the ever changing way of life..these are the old fashioned(the churches), and the now fashioned(present) values..per my evaluation.. ..you can disagree as much as you want..
i may live in the now fashioned values/morality of society but i pattern my way of living mostly by what the church has taught me throughout the years..i may not go to church every sunday, but my heart is part of the church..i'm starting to sound very religious.. ..i'm not, i'm a sinner just like everybody else.. ..just that it's how i think, my conscience dictates how i think, how i behave..
so, there's my answer..i was brought up in the now fashioned values and live in it, but i live my life comfortably, following the old fashioned values..it's what my heart/conscience tells me to.. ..
