No act of power goes without its reward.
A good deed brings back good in return.

Be gracious, my , in your power

And bless the common people,
So that your reign may continue forever.

In the Prophet, Kahil Gibran states the importance of the simple life and how you will find peace and meaning through it.

Through my experience so far I have noticed that the days where I feel most at peace and full of love are the days that I am working my hardest at something that I believe in.

I believe in organic farming, being the best mother and friend I can be, eating a vegetarian diet cooked slowly by me, studying an ethical belief system that works for me (buddhism for me but any religion of system that has ethics can work) and not complicating my life too much with tv, cars, cell phones etc.

Since I have started downsizing my life to incorporate all of this I am finding that it takes all day to do these simple things. It takes almost all my energy and then I have hardly any time left for anything else and I don't mind because I am happy doing the things I believe in.

Of course it isn't always easy and isn't always perfect, but through challenges rise new insights and a better understanding of what is around me.

Oh and it helps to have friends who are angels. So my 2 cents is that what each individual needs to do is find their passion, and simplify their lives to incorporate their passions.

What is a Hero?

To me, in comics and otherwise, a hero is someone who rises to the occasion and above their limitations. A person who tries to help others. It may be a moral person and it might not be. A hero isn't perfect, far from it. Being a hero doesn't make one any less human than the rest of us. Although, very often, it is the more common variety of human that assumes a hero is somehow perfect. And I think that's where the problems start.

As time goes on
I realize
Just what you mean
To me

And now
Now that you're near
Promise your love
That I've waited
To share

And dream
Of our moments together
COLOUR MY WORLD
With hopes
Of loving you...

Lovingly dedicated
To my soulmate

One Day

One day I hope to find you here
One day we'll find our destiny
We'll reach for our dreams
The unreachable star
We'll hold to our quest
No matter how far
As we travel together
Just you and I
We'll go for our dream
We'll make it come true!

PS I hope to find U soon!
