sweet moments never last
but we value them
just part of our past
sad smiles easily replace
the feature of a loving face
but tomorrow is always ours
full of love, full of grace

Tell me why?
since I met you, I stopped my poetry
I sheathed my sword
changed the shape of my entry
and all my papers are fold!

Tell me why?
since I lost you,
never romanced the moon again
and all my stars are slain!

Tell me why?
since that dream gone astray
my river of love became drain
and I only can pray
for a heart that is not a twin of pain

Tell me why?
I can't be myself again
if you know the difference
between a crazy poet, and a sane!

Two Things I liked In Egypt Aug 22, 2009 5:47 am

During my last trip to Egypt, 10 days ago, i noticed two new legislation concerning women, which were an obvious positive trend towards females in general!

1. It is forbidden by law now for any girl to get married unless she is 18 years or older.
By doing so, the Egyptian government has ended the tradition of girls being married at a younger age of 14, 15, 16, and 17, where we used to see kids raising kids.
it is for the benefit of those girls not to allow their parents agree on pre-arranged marriages for their kids, even before knowing and comprehending the marriage life requirements!

2. By law, it is forbidden now to marry according to civil marriages as it used to be!
this simply means, more rights are reserved for females in general.
It was well known that many rich people from neighboring countries used to spend their vacations in Egypt, where they seek pleasure!
seeking pleasure meant at that time, to get married to a young girl for a limited period of time, that is not exceeding their holidays time.
when those tourist guys leave the country, they are no more legally responsible for their girls they married, even if those girls were pregnant.
Not only that, but they don't even recognize their kids in they future as their own kids. they are allowed by civil marriage at that past to neglect their own kids!
New law means, there will be no more a child without a mother and father, and those kids will carry their fathers names whether those fathers like it or not!
another victory for women, and for kids in Egypt!

Life Frivolity Aug 4, 2009 8:46 am

[We come to this life crying and screaming when we were born!
It takes someone all she/he got to raise us up and see us in the best way she/he hopes and wishes to see us!
as soon as we start to realize what right and what is wrong, we take over life responsibility!
and we repeat doing what was done to us!

Life can never be fair!
and life's vanity keeps teasing us in different ways every now and then!
We try to convince ourselves, that we will win eventually, if we have enough patience, because they say patience is virtue!

What else is a "virtue" in our lives?

our faith?
our love?
our kindness?
our values and principals in life?

We continue the struggle!
and we claim that this life is not paradise! it is just like a bus stop in heading towards our eternity!

And the question remains: IS THERE REALLY AN ETERNITY?
Are we going to be compensated for what we lost in life here, or is it just the life frivolity teasing us every now and then?
What if the whole issue about eternity is just a big lie?
Some of you will say now, read the holy books!
there, you got the answer!
but what holy books are we talking about when they all came out to our ancients thousands of years ago?!
i don't know what ot believe and what not to believe any more!
why not now?
why so many prophets and Messengers came to humanity thousands of years ago, and not now?
And why do we have to believe in what was said thousands of years ago, when every thing is rapidly changing every day?
is it the big lie?
or may be it is more simple!
any of us is just like a tree!
we bloom, become fruitful, then fruitless till our Fall come, and we die standing!
die standing here does not refer to our pride!
but refers to miserable state of minds of human being dying when they least expect it, and still run day after day, to achieve a dream that they had decades ago, trying to make materialize!
And for those lucky ones of us who could achieve something, when are their dreams materializing? and at what age?
what is the use of money that can buy every thing, but u get it only when you are at a certain conditional age!

Isn't that that life vanity?

Between Heaven And Hell Aug 1, 2009 4:05 pm

I read a certain blog that made me wonder; why people fear falling in love?
and when they fall for each other, why do they feel scared to death if one of them is about to confess it?
Taking this hesitation into consideration, one thinks, why some other guys keep saying " I love you" to every girl they chat or just met?
and how come, some girls, would give hugs, kisses and love words to some guys without even knowing their real names?
why this criteria of people make this phrase "i love you" looks so cheap?
I know some ladies who'd rather keep whining their love rather than saying it!
and they feel the real pain when they see other girls approaching the guys of their dreams. At the same time, they might lose a beautiful opportunity just by allowing their pride control the process of confession!
Isn't that a way of leaving you just hanged between heaven and hell of your burning feelings?

But, there is another face of the process!
how and why would a guy not be able to feel the love of a girl for him, if he also love her?
Isn't she his ultimate priority when he really loves her?
Does she have to confess with our cliche words to tell him "provide him with the info" that she feels love to him?

Love has it is own language!
and love has it is own methodology!
when you both are in love, just look at each others eyes!! try to read and react!
see how u feel in heaven, and what beings in heaven feels like!!
ask yourself, if just you were with her, touching her hand in order to feel her warmth!
looking at her eyes, in order to feel differently
look at her lips how they move, and you will see the moon smiling for you!
watch her sweet smile, and see how you feel that your real life has just started!
pronounce her name, and feel the spring breeze going through your back even if it was summer and it is hot like hell!
and once she said "my sweetheart" to you, watch the difference between a whimsical and a noble hearted person in you!

Yes! love change us all, in an amazing way, and that is for sure, positively!

Once you could tell, the difference between heaven and hell, don't hesitate to confess your true love feelings to your sweetheart, so that you wont miss the precious moment that you spent your lifelong waiting for!

Night Inspirations Jul 10, 2009 5:16 pm

Do you know how it feels being all alone at night?
Did you experience the moments passing by with heavy steps, as if this darkness is really endless?
How do you feel when all you got is your mobile phone and your computer to link you to the real and cyber worlds together?
Wherever you look, you see walls!
No matter how beautifully they are painted, they are still walls!
And you got that feeling, and ponder; now i know what my walls are keeping within, but looking for your nearest window to other walls that hiding other human beings at the late night moments, makes you wonder, what are those people doing? sleeping? if so, do they snore loud? do they sleep on their faces or on their backs? what velvet sheets cover their beauty? unless they leave it uncovered so that the moon and night birds can also enjoy?
But may be they are a wake!
and may be they are not alone and lonely like you!
and if that is the case, what are they doing?
do people speak with low voices at night because it is so quiet and stars have ears too?
or human beings tend to only whisper at night?
If they are whispering, what could it be?
love words?
Love?
people tend to make love not only speak of love at night!!
why at night?
thinking of that, makes me feel as if those couples are teasing me, because they enjoy making love only when a lonely guy feels so helpless!!
But why do I talk as if i were in no man island?
may be because it is the night consequences!!
you look at your watch again, and see the night darkness is even slower!
this night seems to be so endless ones!
if just you were with me, I would have said, let it be!!
if just i felt your breath mixing with mine, it would make a difference!
if my lips were active now instead of my finger (typing) it would be a heavenly night!
If i were looking at your painted toes shining like stars on earth, it would have meant something else to me!
If your breasts were dripping the almond milk in my mouth now, putting off the late night heat burning my body and ending my long thirst, i would have wished that all my life would such a long dark night as such!
all i have of you, is your picture!
your picture that hiding all the beauty I dreamed of lifelong!
and that makes me again ponder; the best flower in the world, is the flower yet never were smelled!

Did You Ever Google This Story? Jul 9, 2009 4:59 pm

There are some stories that are so heartbreaking, so horrifying, that it’s difficult to know how to even begin telling them. The story of Marwa el-Sherbini, the woman now being called a “headscarf martyr,” is one of those stories.

It begins in Egypt, where Marwa was a former national handball champion. Last year, Marwa and her husband Elvi Ali Okaz were living in Germany with their son, Mustafa. One day, Marwa, dressed in a hijab, took Mustafa to the park to play on the swings. When she asked a man to let her son sit on a swing, he responded by calling her a “terrorist” and an “Islamist whore.” She took him to court for the insult and he was fined, a decision he later appealed. Last week during the appeal, as a pregnant Marwa was on the witness stand, he walked across the courtroom and stabbed her 18 times. Her husband Elvi and Mustafa, now three years old, were in the courtroom at the time, and when Elvi ran over to help Marwa, the man stabbed him in the leg. Court police also mistook Elvi for the assailant and shot him, critically wounding him.

The story is apparently difficult for the press to tell, too. There has been very little coverage of the killing, which is striking when compared to the saturation of coverage of the equally tragic murder of Neda Agha Soltan during the protests in Iran a fortnight ago. As one columnist wrote at the online Middle East news site Menassat,

“The absence of Marwa’s story from the mainstream media and the failure to start a debate about the immediate dangers of present European anti-Muslim racism shows the depth of the problem and draws us to expect a gloomy future for Muslims in Europe. Muslims like Neda only get to the news if their story serves the dominant narrative that presents Islam as the primary threat to freedom, while Muslims like Marwa who expose the pervasive racism of the West and challenge the existing stereotypes fail to get their story told.”

In addition to being sparse, news coverage of the event has been spotty, with some agencies reporting that the man’s name was Axel and others reporting that his name was Alex. Some reports claim that the attacker was Marwa’s neighbour; others do not mention any relationship between the man and the family. The German government, which has been criticized for its minimal response to the murder, has defended itself, with a spokesperson calling the event “an abhorrent deed” and stating that Chancellor Merkel plans to meet with the Egyptian President to discuss it at this week’s G8 summit.

In her native Egypt, Marwa is being honoured as a “headscarf martyr.” Her murder and the apparent lack of response from the German government and the press impelled thousands of Egyptians to march in protest alongside her coffin this week. Those leading the protests, including her brother, believe that her murder and the near-silence that followed are symbolic of Europe’s increasing, and increasingly violent, intolerance towards Muslims.

Stories like this one, stories of senseless violence, are difficult to tell, and are in some ways impossible to fully understand. But they need to be told, and their meaning needs to be grappled with. The murder of Marwa, like the murder of Neda and like countless other acts of senseless violence holds a mirror up to society. We might not like what we see, but we can’t ignore its existence. We must tell the difficult stories, the stories of violence and hatred and ignorance, the stories that make us ashamed of our countrymen and afraid for the future of our culture. We must tell them, we must listen to them and we must begin to make sense of that which seems senseless.

What is a Filipino Friend Finder to you?
is it just a dating site, like any other similar dating site?
is it the same for filipino people and non-filipino people?
do u find it a place where you can blog or read blogs and exchange views? consequently, is it an informative site?
or, if u r a filipino and living or working/living abroad you consider it a mean of communication with home country?
dp u find it the suitable place to keep updated about all concern your home country when you read all the news and even can be updated live through other people at chat rooms?
or, if u are a foreigner, you find it the best place to find what u r looking for, like interesting ladies for marriage, trust info source about tourism and related issue about the philippines?
And for those who just find themselves in chatting, do u think it is the best place to chat compared to other chatting sites? or at least one of the best?
you think your getting addicted to its chatting rooms to the extent that it is becoming part of your daily life routine?
what info u gain from chatting for years now?
I know there is group activities as well. and I admit it that i never done my best there, may be because most members tend to use their tagalog language in posting some issues! But do u find group activities really at their best, or they can be better?

Most important question: DID YOU EVER LEAVE THIS SITE AND COULDN'T BEAR WITH BEING A WAY AND CAME BACK TO IT?
if ever u left the group, why did you come back to it?
and if u found what u r looking for in this site, why did not you just signed a thanking letter to Filipino Friend Finder staff, and left?
for some of you, do you feel a difference when you just change your handle name at FFF and come back the other day but with a new name, telling the rest of the members that you are a newbie?
I am wondering whether I am gonna leave this site so soon, and whether I have to come back to it again!
