226 Views | Omar Al-Bashir over alleged genocide against ethnic groups in Darfur? I don't have to be a lawyer to know that justice should prevail all over the world. I wish I could wake up one morning and find all dictators of any country in the world - west, east, north, south - behind bars. Because that's the only thing they deserve.
Living under the rule of dictators, thrown in jails and tortured and deprivation of civil rights and democracy are crimes too.I don't know much about the situation in Darfur except what I hear in the news. I feel sorry for the poor people in Darfur. What they need now is help.
But is it only Darfur that is suffering from such appalling and horrific conditions? What about Iraq? Are the Iraqis living in peace? Is Iraq a paradise now? Who caused the war in Iraq? Who turned Iraq upside down? It's a nightmare there - there are bombings, shootings, rapes (even in state jails) and chaos every day. | |

180 Views |  | I was reading news when get to my attention the war was seen by many Arabs as a victory against Israel. Arabs are so sentimental! Imagine Israel agreeing to exchange hundreds of prioners/ remains including Kantar, who's considered very dangerous in Israel. They agreed to release him and others for two corpses of ordinary soldiers, who were not even high-ranking, neither colonels nor brigadiers etc.
That how valuable a human is for the Israelis. It doesn't matter from which family is he from or which tribe or ranking. Any Israeli to them is important and they are ready to negotiate and bend and get him back dead or alive. Will there come a day when we see that Arab human beings are also considered so valuable to governments or nations... |
