Forgive me? Feb 25, 2008 6:07 pm
Mood: cheerful, 278 Views
I recently read a blog from a new friend and realized that everything he said in his post was true of me. You see, my friend didn't want to post anything at the time because of frustration and anger. I on the other hand post more often when frustrated by something that seems to me to make no sense or is so racist its hard to swallow.
However, I realize that my friend had the more adult approach and that I too should not let anger and frustration ruin my blog or the readers who come to my blog. So I apologize for being frustrated and taking it out on you the readers. Thanks for reading and take care and God bless, your friend,

I Pledge allegance Feb 23, 2008 11:29 am
Mood: courageous, 306 Views
I talk about so many different things but this is suppose to be a blog mostly geared to Marines and Being Patriotic so I will try to do that. I was told that there is a Filippino pledge of allegance also but I am not sure what that is. This is the American pledge that we had to say in schools for a while and I really enjoy saying it still. Take care and God bless, and thanks for reading,

I pledge allegance to the Flag,
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic
for which it stands,
One nation under God,
Indivisible,
for liberty and justice for all

discrimination in pinay? Feb 21, 2008 7:00 pm
Mood: sad, 399 Views
I ususally believe that you can make what you want of your life if you believe and you have the right work ethic and discipline. I could not help but notice that some people would not like for this to be. You see they judge us based on our skin or our race and they block out those who don't fit into their box or veiw of the world.
How do you say? I spoke to one today. that is right just spoke. I didn't ask for a number or a date or ym addy, i simply spoke, and I was informed that this person only speaks or chats with people that look like her and are of her race. How sad. If you can't speak to people that don't look like you, then what does that say about you? Maybe this person is one of the only ones like that here. But I see from the pairrings of couples, and from the almost hundreds of couples that I know, that she is not. Most people here are of that same mind set and I hope that one day we will be able to live in a global cyber or not world where we would not be judged by our skin, but the content of our charater.
Being of latino descent has nothing to do with it. Being a man really doesn't have anything to do with it. Just get to know someone before you judge them. Woman, man, pinoy, or latino, or white, or what ever the case may be! Take care and God bless, thanks for reading, your friend, no matter what your race is,

3 things you need to know about your Marine Feb 21, 2008 9:49 am
Mood: courageous, 239 Views
Ok, so there is this connection between Marines and Pinays. Yes Many of my Marine buddies have married filippinas and Many more have dated so many and not really worked out in marriage. So if you are dating or planning to go out with a jarhead, here is three things you should know, from a Jarhead and Devil Dog to you.
First of all no group or person can be sterotyped. Marines may be trained killers, which we are, but we are diverse as men as all men are not the same and some are jerks. The Corp may even be the Jerk central since most Marines are more loyal to their rifle than to their woman. After all, "this is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine."
Two, Marines are taught by other Marines. What I mean is, before I went to the phils, a lot of Marines told me about asian and Pinay women and that they were wild and so foth. So most of my buddies were only interested in parting and not looking for Marriage. So Know that your Marine probablly knows this also.
Third, men are judged mostly by the number of women they can be with, so many men and Marines try to conquer the world, so to say. Yes there are a lot of very beautiful pinay and so Marriagae is to be true to just one. Why settle when you can have them all Many Marines feel this way also. So now you know what you are up against and you may know your Marine a little better now, just don't bring this up in front of his Marine buddies cause no man will admit to any of this but pleed the 5th Take care and God bless and thanks for reading,

Friends, ones we can depend on? real friends on FFF? Feb 19, 2008 9:43 pm
Mood: curious, 289 Views
I was gone from fff for a couple of months. I couldn't come on really because i was having computer problems and then I got sick. I had developed a couple of blood clots in my lung and a kidney was malfuntioning and so I was in a hospital bed for a month. Not many on here know that and for that matter even less of the ones that I consider to be friends. During that time I got to thinking, do I even have friends on fff at all? is there anyone on fff that I would depend on if I really had to rely on someone's aid?
Well, there are people that I have chatted with for years on this site. There are those that I have known for a few months and we celebrate their weddings, kids being born and we are so friendly that one may belive that we are the best of friends and know all there is to know about each other. They list me as having 162 friends in my friends network. Out of that number and some that I know that will not accept me into their network or accept my invites, how many would I way are true real friends? 5, 10, or less? Even though this is the cyber world I have always assumed that some of us are actually true friends and if we were closer we would hang out, party together, laugh and cry together and all. But it is true that most, if not all, of these people are not really my friends, and I have done almost all that I could do to be friendly and make these my friends.

The bible says that to make friends one must present himself friendly. I am without a dought one of the most friendly people on this site. So is it possible to have a true friend on fff? Can you find people to share good and Bad times with? I dought it. I have the experice to back that up but. My best friend on this site married a girl he met on here. There are EB and parties all the time and I even have had an occasional crush or two on this site, so you have to believe it is possible. Maybe I am wrong, but I hope that you can and we will be true friends, someday. Thanks for reading and take care, God bless and keep you all, your "friend"

Presidents Day Feb 19, 2008 12:46 am
Mood: Patriotic, 196 Views
We just recently celibrated a holiday for remembering the past presidents of the United States. We call it Presidents day and it is set aside as a holiday because of the number of presidents born in this month. There is no dought that there have been several presidents in the history of the United States, that have been less than Miraculous and magnificent. There is also no dought that there have been several Presidents of the United States that have changed and shaped the world that they were President in and also for years to come after they left office.
I think that maybe time will show wheather our present President falls into the catagory of the Great Presidents or the the afore mention group. I am however fully supportive of the fact that he has what is known as conviction and stands tall behind all of his decisions right or wrong. The world needs leaders to be strong, to be men of charater and to be people who stand on values and principles. Maybe there is so bad that has come to some places as a result of the decisions of some American Presidents. But who can argue about the amount of Greatness that has been given to the World because of the choices of the great experiment and the Great Presidents of the past. Thank you for reading, take care and God bless you all, and God bless America!!! Your friend,
Biggs

Valentine? Feb 11, 2008 11:32 am
Mood: Romantic, wink, wink, 276 Views
Be my valentine, chocolates, roses, all sorts of romance and for what? Is it really a romantic gesture if it is an almost madatory event to take place? Lets say its your anniversary, you have a relationship of some sort and now you need to celebrate it. Will it be romantic if everyone else celebrates that same day the same way that you do? No!!! Valentine's day is the biggest hoax of them all.

I love to do things for my special lady when I have one on that time of the year, but why should I be obligated to do so by a certain day or have to do a certain thing. I think if you really love the person and not the day then you can give them chocolates and roses all through out the year and then they are your Valentine the whole year and not just for a couple of days, or til the flowers die. My Valentine, doesn't need to get excited on the 14 of February unless that is our anniversay, she should get excited when ever we meet because every day she is my Valentine with that all said, I hope all you guys and dolls get lots of flowers balloons and candies, live for today, cause tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. Love with all your hearts and never hold back, Happy Valentine's in advance!!!!

P.S. Men love chocolates and flowers too ladies despite what they say Take care and God bless and Keep you all, your friend

do children know how to make friends better than adults? Dec 14, 2007 11:46 am
Mood: curious, 513 Views
It may seem like a crazy question, but it is really amazing when you think about it. If you ever observe very young kids then you would know that they make friends with anyone really. Adults have such wild and crazy selecting processes that often we avoid making good friend choices and I will give you example of both.

When a kid goes to school for the first time, everyone in their class is their friend. They may play with some kids more than others. They may even like some kids more than some other kids but the most part they are all friends. Adults(even the ones that seem relatively friendly) will choose friends on basis as bad as looks, attraction, money, popularity, and even race. All of those should have nothing to do with wheather or not you are friends with someone or not, but sadly enough it is very true.
I can even say for the bible says, "To make friends one must present himself friendly." Easy right? but if that were truly true, then I would have the most friends of anyone on here, because who do you know more friendly than me? I have never refused any friendship offer, but I have had several refuse mine. Maybe they don't like to have friends, maybe they don't like the way I asked, or maybe they just don't find me friendly? Regardless, kids still know how and make friends easier than adults do. Thanks for reading and Take care and God bless, your friend

living life with no regrets? Dec 8, 2007 11:12 am
Mood: thoughtful, 680 Views
I see people say this on their profiles all the time. I chat with people in chat rooms that say similar things also. It really sounds good to say and to read but do people actually do it?

They don't go on vacations, they don't travel the world, they don't party or drink or do most of the exciting things that people always say that they would like to do in their life times. You don't go on any great experiences, so how is ithis living life without regrets? So if you think or say or believe or write, or however you want to put it, and then turn around and express all kinds of regrets, what is the problem?

Travel, "I can't afford to!"(regret number 1). Party, "I have too many bills!" (regret number 2) etc, . . . The fact is that most of us can look back on our lives and wish we had done something or not done something. Unfortunately, Ladies and Gentlemen that is regret. Lastly to quote one of the great songwriters/singers/performers ever, "You want to see an exibition, better do it now before you get to old. Cause we're the party people night and day, living crazy is the only way, so tonight, got to leave that 9 to 5 up on the shelf(that is the job) and just enjoy yourself. Goove, let the midus in the music get to you, life isn't bad at all, when you're living off the wall" Micheal Jackson!

If you don't experience all the things that life has to offer now, you never will. there will always be situations where something keeps you from doing, stops you from enjoying what you want to. When your life is almost gone then you will look back at what you didn't experience with "Regret". To Pun a nike phrase, "Just do it!!"

I have done so many things and guess what I still have some to do. But, I won't live my life full of regrets, who's with me ? Lets do this!!!! thanks for reading and take care and God bless and keep you all, your friend

This Christmas? Dec 7, 2007 8:05 am
Mood: Cheerfull, 528 Views
The time of year for giving gifts to others and for celebrating the birth of our savior is once again at hand. This is called the most wonderful time of the year. Sadly, most will not get the gifts that they desire, few will truly praise and celebrate our Lord's birth, and most will be just as sad and lonely at this time of the year, as they are in other times.
With all that can be found that is so very bad in this time of the year, why is this time considered to be so great? Why do we make promises to ourselves that next year's Christmas will be better? What is the greatness that is missed by so many?
Christmas is special because even if you don't get what you want, there is always some special gift, visit, occurance or some special event that makes life both magical and worth living. Over 2000 years ago, the birth of one child changed the history of mankind. It changed our lives and we were not yet in existence. For that reason alone we all will always have a very merry christmas, that is if you come to know that his name is Jesus, and to know him as your savior. I pray you all do and that you all have a wonderful and Blessed Christmas, God bless and keep you all and God bless the United States Marine Corps and God bless America. Thanks for reading and take care and God bless, your friend,
Biggs
