The eternal question of who's side your really on and what truly is the right thing to do. I have a friend(girl), that likes another friend(guy), she believes that they are in a great relationship, but I know that he is cheating on her. I also am good friends with both but it is not really my buisness to come and kinda tell all. or is it? should I be telling him to straighten out and stop hurting the girl, should I be telling the girl to leave and why I think that, or should I stay out of it all together, which is what I choose to do. so I was having a discussion with my girl friend, we talked about why pinay are so caught up on light skin, why most of use find some people attractive and not others. We both agreeded that most Black people look scarry and its not just a matter of skin color. We also agree that we both had never really met a ugly boriqua(Puerto Rican).
This is when my gf, hit me with a bomb shell. She stated that to her, I looked black(african American) not Dominicano at all and also that one of my co workers who we were plaining to go into business with looked Puerto Rican even though he is just black and actually light skinned. This was so alarming to me because It meant to me that she not only didn't think I was handsome, but thought this other guy was better looking than me. I am forever burnt cause I can never trust this guy to be a partner or leave him and my gf alone together again. I know I am insecure and maybe I do need to grow up, but damn it I am also a goodlooking guy. I am Dominicano and I don't care who doesn't like it. God made me what I am and I am proud of that. If you don't find me attractive then there must be something in my skin that you don't like otherwise how can you deny it.
Anyway, how do you ever regain the trust that is lost when someone you care for shows more affection for someone else than you? I had a checkup at the hospital the other day, after I regained my composure, I explained I am not African I am not from Dominica, I am from the Republica Dominicana!!!! I been around the world, I had a meal in most every large city and spent a couple days in almost the same. I love the noodles in Japan(Tokyo is awesome) the taco rice in okinawa is not bad also. I think salsa and Santo Dominigo and an El Presidente are perfectly combined. Cebu is the city of my future and Naha, is the spot, don't even get me started on Pancit . But after all the cities I could list like Boston, New york, Miami, Havana, Manila, Seoul, Hong kong, Davao, San Juan, Chicago, Seattle, Ankarage, San Francisco, Dallas, Phoenix, Puerto Plata, Rio de Janiero, despite those, I love Los Angeles!!!! I love the Lakers, I love the Angels, I love the beaches, walk of fame, the hills, the best airport period. I love the women, the food, the views, the clubs, I love Los Angeles, and since I will be moving there very soon, I will be so much more in love!!!=)
Is Los Angeles the best city in the world? oh hell no. its about number 5 in the United States to me There is no place Greater than New York city, followed closely by Santo Dominigo. A flower, also known as a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a flower is to mediate the union of male sperm with female ovum in order to produce seeds. The process begins with pollination, is followed by fertilization, leading to the formation and dispersal of the seeds. For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. The grouping of flowers on a plant are called the inflorescence. But that explains some of what a flower is, there are as I know of three historical points of view for why we give flowers.
Because of the reproductive function of a flower and its beauty, Historically flowers were given to ones love one as a symbol of your desire for intamacy with that individual. There are different amounts and different flowers have meant different things but basicly it was a sexual jesture.
The second historical symbol is that of being regenerated or reborn. People have given flowers to love ones that pasted because the flower is a symbol of the plants ability to reproduce itself and defy death. Many flowers have special or different stigmas of powers over death and thustly have become better for some occasions than other flowers.
The last is the fact that most all flowers are given to someone that is meeting or trying to get to know someone else, as a symbol of friendship. You want to make a good impression to a lady that you plan to court. Send me flowers too, I love them. It is often said that if you love someone, let them go, if they return to you, they will be yours forever, if they don't then they were never yours to start with. What tha hell? Does anyone out there other than me see this crazyness? If you love someone, protect them, take care do all you can to nurture that love. Don't let go, If you can so carelessly release your love to wonder and maybe like a boomerang come back to you, after some time, however much time they boomerang back to you, that isn't love that is luck. Unless your austrailan or something(home of the boomerang) ha, ha, ha just kidding, but I think we should examine all of the bits of so called advice that we have accepted over the years as "conventional wisdom".
