Laughter. I am truly amazed by some people I met particularly at my work who doesn't seem to worry about anything in the world. They don't worry about the climate change, increasing poverty, inflation, crime rate, epidemics of diseases, inequality, discrimination and hundreds more. Many people protest, attend rallies, lobby, complain, sue, go on hunger strike and whatever they can do to express their discontent, dissatisfaction, disagreement, sympathy or just simply vent. These people I know, despite their condition manage to laugh at any opportunity they can. They don't seem to know boredom despite having nothing much to do, they truly live one day at a time. Some of them may not have much time left while others seem to have forever and others are forgotten by time. I sometimes worry about them, about their family and I feel sorry for them for the situation they are in. But why should I bother when they are not bothered or at least doesn't seem to be. How can they afford to laugh despite their situation? Laughter is one thing that can't be taken away from anyone. It is one thing we can do in any situation, it can be a defense and an offense. Perhaps that answers my own question. To laugh is our choice and ours alone. We should practice it more at any opportunity we get. It will make life easier and happier, specially for us who enjoy freedom. Laugh or smile more often even at ourselves. Let's forget about all the worries of the world, stop anger and sadness but spread laughter. Is that possible? “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.” |

Of course I have to let them do what they want, I can't stop or force anyone to do what they want even if I want everyone to be happy. Yes we all gonna die, so might as well choose to be happy and smile, it makes a difference to live happy and die happy. So choose happiness moonie. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”
