Where is that love now?

I posted something about a new found love previously and recently someone asked me about it. I just got back and was shocked to see what had happened to it.

We all know that love needs attention in order for it to grow, develop and stay longer if not forever. In this world there are many opportunists, there are many waiting for you to leave and they will take advantage of what you have worked hard for. Take for example this soil that I prepared for my planned garden. I turned my back for several weeks, ignored it and what happened? Lo and behold , healthy weeds all over. As if they were laughing and mocking me telling me I lost my love to them. Should I give up? No way!

Same thing with people we love. We have to give constant attention, regular communication and some pampering. Not too much, too much of anything can be a poison. Like too much sun, too much water and too much fertilizer can kill our plants. Don’t leave love without communication, attention and some pampering. Without these, love can wither like a plant. There are so many temptations around, like there are many opportunistic weeds in a garden. But unlike plants humans have morals and control over temptations. Unfortunately not everyone are the same, some give in to temptation easily. If you have done everything and still not making any progress then it’s time to move on and find another love. If you really love someone, persevere, be consistent, communicate, give attention and see it prosper.

I’m giving myself another chance for this love to develop further. The difference is, if I give up on this no one will have hurt feelings. I have tried and enjoyed the experience. I do not expect or hope much from it hence I do not give much attention to it. Maybe because it’s not my one true love?

How do you show your love?

Watch out for that love, keep it alive.

Thank you for the love but that love I can not use in my garden.

Yes that is true but my point is different , if ignored it will be taken advantaged of by others.

I also re-learned to LOVE gardening, no matter how small the space is, and I am happy that flowers are blooming now..

For now I just love gardens but not the gardening, it's quite demanding , I'm content with few pot plants or water plants.
