" SUPER TYPHOON" COMING ON JANUARY 15,2015 Yes Sir ! ! ! a super "Spiritual Typhoon" is coming on January 15,2015. The name is Jorge (not this blogger Jorge  ) but Jorge Cardinal Mario Bergoglio from Argentina,popularly known as Pope Francis.He is the Head of State of Holy See at Vatican City (an independent State) and he is the Ruler. Typhoon Yolanda which hit the country last year(more than a year ago)with its packing center winds of more than 300kph,considered the strongest in history,uprooting century old trees and literally flattened houses and buildings down to ground levels. But the "Spiritual Typhoon"will be hitting the Philippines with his"Gentle Winds" coming from Heaven and brings forth the renewed image of compassion with the poorest,observe humility and practice simple but unobstructed way of religious leadership.(Leadership by Example)He is coming to fortify the dwindling faith and help the displaced people to augment their patience to struggle for a decent spiritual existence. Typhoon Yolanda has devastated directly the lives of more than four(4) million people and indirectly affected the lives of another 16 million (USAID report)and claimed the lives of more than six (6) thousand people. Until now ,nightmares still lingering the daily lives of our compatriots in Tacloban and Leyte and this is one reason why the Holy Pope is coming over to the Philippines,not to raise the dead ones from their graves,but to heal the scars of the catastrophic history and guide spiritually the wounded ones who are still recovering from the tragedy. Of the 100 million Filipinos (latest 2014 POPCOM data)76 millions are Catholics (2014 CBCP REPORTS) and will be ,directly and indirectly ,getting involved with this historical event.More than 300 local and international flights (Airport Terminals 1,2, and 3) are cancelled while some are diverted ,to another airports on January 15 and 19 ,,dates of Pope/s arrival and departure,respecttively,affecting more than forty(40) thousand air line passengers. Major roads are blocked and traffic flows are re routed on the day of his arrival and wherever his presence is needed. FBI (those organizations of Fathers and Brothers Internationally)have something to monitor on all his activities ( not the Federal Bureau of Big Brother) but those religious men or laymen around the Philippines.  Since the Pope is coming to the Philippines on a Religious Pilgrimage and not on a commercial or business activities,CIA (Customs Intelligence Agency) has nothing to do with Pope/s trip(No highly taxable goods coming in) But as Head of an Independent State(Vatican City) the PSG ( Presidential Security Group of the Philippines) is obliged to render him the best and safest secured routines wherever the Pope commits himself(like Tacloban/Leyte,Manila Cathedral,Luneta Park,Apostolic Nunciature etc) But on the other hand the BIR has something to earmark as an area of interest,those enterprising, clever entrepreneurs who sell without invoices a lot of Pope's souvenir items ,such as Mugs,t shirts,chains,hankies etc and this comes not in hundreds but millions of copies and pieces.(make a little multiplication please) While some sectors of the society are bracing up for the Pope's arrival and presence,I myself is looking forward to,if given a chance,of embracing the Holy Father.......to strengthen further my Catholic faith....and re direct my way towards the "TUWID NA DAAN". In all of the confusion and chaos around the world and everyone needs a guiding hand, so much goodness and blessings that we're having HIS HOLINESS right here in our country.. its time to get back - as you say - sa tuwid na daan.. Happy New year !
