2 Reasons Why I Hate Watching TV Commercials! 1) It consumes or takes away almost 50% of the regular show air time. A 15 minute regular showing becomes 30 when commercials are shown intermittently in between each segment.Almost doubled,am i right? 2) Misleading commercials. Watch a toothpaste commercial,close up shots of milky,white and strong teeth are flashed on TV screens. Watch a shampoo commercial,close up shots of soft,shiny hair are flashed on the screens for a few seconds. But in commercials of feminine napkins,they diverted the close up shots to elsewhere,instead, they show close up shots of designer's pair of denim pants. Isn't that unfair? Too misleading...

whooah! u all hate commercials but it is an advantage to my class. I gave them week-long homework watching only commercials, and it makes their parents wonder why. and make them analyze n criticize.. n very useful on critical thinking lessons!! And they keep also complaining about the tv shows super saturated with commercials! love the flow of the conversation here!! happy hugss peeps!! susan

Jorge, You just have to live with it or you avoid the TV  After all, your fave programs wont be there without the ad sponsors.

My sis got it down pack! Watching all her teleseryas and what have you. She noticed only 10 mins were actually shown on Be Careful...the rest is commercials. What i do is speed up since it's recorded so don't have to deal with commercials!!! Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

Jorge back in the days in NZ we pay an annual fee if you own a TV called broadcasting fee. There were only 3 channels and very few commercials. Now it's free pero more commercial. “Use the quotation for the occasion; do not make an occasion for the quotation.”
