Latter part of the second WW,while every one was enraged due to intensified fighting's. A small group of Resistant forces known as FAIT (Fil-American Ir-regular Troops)were conducting an ambus-cade on a coastline patrolling bangca filled with Japanese enemies.
Ill equipped with few guns they acquired from previous encounter ,a handful of ammo, and sharpened bamboos(buho),Rogacing a young guerilla fighter designated as 1st rifleman ,sneaks out, and aimed to deliver the first shot at enemy personels aboard the moving target.
Bang! right on the forehead down goes the machinegun gunner, exchange of fire volleys ensued and the remaining ones lay dead, infliction caused by that sharp pointed"buho",a local fighting tool. Stenched smell of blood splattered on the banca floor, another victory and a mission accomplished for the composite team.

Hereafter,Rogacing was summoned by his CO to do a mission well suited for his endurance, mild mannered nature, physique,
and boyish features of a man at his age.He was asked to deliver a secret missive for the resistant forces at the far flung areas of Bulacan. His innocent and amiable looks made him passed Japs Sentry Points with eased thus concealing his secret identity .

The dawns breaking ,Aling Cecilia was wrapping up some salt sprinkled rice on newly sprouted banana leaves taken at their home backyard.
Rogacing gearing up and preparing for his mission was tensely sorting the things he might need on his trip. Aling Cecilia broke his Silence asking "Saan ba ang tungo mo ngayon?"
reaching his lunchpack and doubtedly responded "Mamaya ko pa ho malalaman ,kay Kapitan",offered his hand for the usual hand bless and meek words of farewell, head for the stairs, then making a sign of the Cross at the altar wave off to his worried mother, He went. On his way thru the dusty road layed in between the fishponds of Daang Bayugo, The tolling bells of San Francisco de Assisi church , rang out on the whole of Meycauyan outreaching its still asleep small Barrios. From the church patio, He went for the spiral staircase heading up to a secret room within the bells tower, bit ticking sounds of Morse Code machine ,saluting his CO,
"Magingat ka ,ang mga sulat itago mong mabuti".

First Sentry point, he bowed by the guardhouse and uttered"kumbawa".Responding, the young Japanese soldier nod back and raised up the pole . Rogacing, offered him some Newport cigarettes , tossed to him andanswered back with a smile"Domo Arigato Roger San".

Lighting up a 'casa y' fuego and smiled back to the amused befriended sentinel. He being one of the laxed Japanese guard among the town locals.
With gestures and puff of the mentholated cigarette, hand motion conversation about the town girls was the most enjoyed by the chinky eyed Japanese lad.

"Sayonara RogerSan"He vowed back as he went along to leave him behind heading North, facing the Sierra Madre mountain.

Scorching summer heat , the long trails of the plain, cracked uncultured soil ricefields, this patriotic young scout trekked out, unmindful of his bruised sole in fulfillment of his mission to reached his destined goal.Handling out the letter to the CO,opening said cipher , "Mga kasama ,Dumating na ang mga Amerikano, Nasa Leyte na si Gen. McArthur".Tossing their worned out 'Sambalilo (straw hat),The Captain embracing Rogacing with heartfelt fatherly instinct to a tiresome teary eyed son, comforting him with words .
"Salamat, bata,Maraming, maraming salamat sa iyo,Kaawaan sana tayo ng diyos"
