Emotionally I did and I became the happiest guy alive. I have my own place in the US and a condo in Canada. My mom and my aunt purchased their dream house in Rizal and Cavite respectively. Are you planning to live in the Philippines when you retire?

Yes I do...like some of my friends here, they come to PI winter time and go back during summer, say 6 mos. here and 6 mos. there, to enjoy both country.
Actually Im happy coz my eldest shows interest to live in Pinas one day, told her she can do what she wants after finishing the school...will she change her mind? it`s up to her

Have a wonderful day Ace

I want to continue to live simply when I retire...I probably will just renovate my small house in Camiguin down south (but north of Mindanao)...I would love to enjoy life now that I am still in my midlife, because God knows, where will I be, when I retire? (or will I live long enough to see that day)...I'm not a pessimist, but I truly live my life, one day at a time...Btw, the place where you acquired your lot is beautiful!

Just call me ELZ

Elz, first welcome back
yes I know Camiguin....was there with ex. long time ago....there`s this famous fall in that area...can`t remember the name right now, but very beautiful place...when we island hop. You are right, we don`t really know what lies ahead I try to enjoy also what I have now....and btw, just in case something happened to me, I put all the kids name too as lot owner.
The property was formerly owned by Aranetas or extension of there hacienda but due to CARP law established by the gov`t., was sold to private...and now converted into subdivision and or future commercials...It`s a suburb, elevated means free from flooding, just outside QC or Metro Manila and there is a future plan to extend LRT going to northern with the station next to the village I just hope that the greeneries surrounding the village will be preserved

Lovely surrounding area sis Grace.

Normally I take longer when thinking about making an investment. More spontaneous when it isn't a long-term investment.

within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.
