Fortress of Solitude

Superman called his arctic ice palace, his fortress of solitude, to think, to invigorate, to be where he's most at peace. Some preferred churches, temples, to pray and meditate. Nature lovers go up the mountains or atop any trees. Some locked themselves at home or in their own rooms to ease and relax. Ideally, should work fine. For a day. For the next day. But upon embarking in the real world again, its still there - the state of discontent, the nagging feeling of superficiality. What is lacking? PEACE..

When the mind, the body and the hearts in complete chemistry, move together in harmony, freedom from disturbance and agitation - tranquility. Inner sanctum. Right here in my own corner, amidst the maddening crowd, the busy fast faced of everyday living, in the demands of the modern times, there's peace in my soul, contentment of my heart, strength of body. Because I've come to terms with Life. I accept things as they come, change if it need some, let it be if nothing can be done, let go if its out of my hands. My adviser that never fails, never condones, never judges - my HEART that i use all the time. Found my own fortress, never shall go afar. Deep within me, I have my own sanctuary.

Sis Ash Leigh, thanks so much for the appreciation. My youngest kid's name is Ashley, like a dusk of a setting sun. Take care.
