just some random thoughts as this old year will come to an end "Smile though your heart is breaking" is the first line of the song 'Smile'. according to David Foster, this song is one of the favorite songs of Michael Jackson. it is such a profound song; so simple, and so beautifully sung by Martina McBride. this song has been an important tool in my survival kit, as I go through life's twists and bends and crossroads. I am a big fan of all the positive mental attitude writers: napoleon hill, og mandino, andrew matthews, anthony robins, dale carnegie, to name a few well-known ones. I have read almost all the books of Bo Sanchez, a now-famous inspirational writer from the Philippines. Also all the Venus/Mars books on relationships and marriage. Among other beautiful things they said, they are one in saying one true thing: that it is attitude that defines a man or a woman. What becomes of him or her, is largely dependent on what kind of attitude he or she has towards life, people, and the environment. I have known love. And I believe that once one has loved, that love may sometimes never dies. And I do not believe that love is blind. We may not be able to articulate or explain why we love somebody....but there is always an explanation why two people are drawn to each other in a 'love relationship'. Why am i saying this , lol! i dont know too! Suddenly a very important person in my past just came to my memory like a piercing pain that came in a flash .... The rainbow which envelopes the other tools in my survival kit are: love, steadfastness, trustworthiness, patience, humility, hard work, sensitivity, respect, looking at the bright side of things, and all the other spiritual qualities, which we are supposed to learn while we are in this life....in preparation for the next world. My prayer for myself for my family and my friends: may our lives be lived always with the teachings of our divine teacher, creator as the yardstick, against which everything that we do shall be measured. Happy New Year to all my dearest...Cheers to everyone.

Happy New Year Barbz. there is nothing but good things for 2013. As you said, everything is attitude. Hugz.   I'm a senior citizen . Don't expect me to remember anything

there was a time in my own life when I tried not to hope for too much or dream dreams that were too big. then I read a simple little quote that said, “Somewhere right now a miracle is happening.” one simple little quote opened up my mind and heart to the very real possibility of miracles. of course I always believed in them, but these words took up residence in my heart and have served as a reminder to me ever since. but I have also found in life that if you want a miracle you first need to do whatever it is you can do .

Happy New Year Barbz. there is nothing but good things for 2013. As you said, everything is attitude. Hugz. , but this year feels different.i would love find myself really looking forward to co-creating a magnificent 2013. i would really appreciate it if i can somehow pull on the balance of creation, surrender and surprises.

Happy New Year, Barbz.....I had a wonderful time welcoming the New Year, with my "foster" family here in Texas...At the strike of midnight, I'm by myself again, something that I am already used to...Yes, I am very hopeful and positive this year...It also helps me believing that my Lucky Number had always been 13.. Just call me ELZ
