mirror mirror on the wall
the vain queen.
thats how snow whites stepmother, who has magic mirror has been described. so full of herself, she ask her mirror everyday, "mirror mirror on the wall, whos the fairest of them all?" she always gets the answer she needs to hear.well, up until snow white grows up and becomes as beautiful as the day.

now, asked by the queen, the magic mirror replies, "snow white is the fairest of them all"

although its only a fairy tale, it speaks of our desire to have a good reflection in the eyes of others. but sad fact is there are many things in our world that distort the true reflection of who we are.in their effort to make us feel good , the people who work for us , for instance will recite our strengths and leave out our weaknesses. it could also be the other way around - jealous so called friends(?), colleagues, neighbors, relatives, competitors will find fault in us where none exist.

we can never really see ourselves through the eyes of fellow humans beings who like us are imperfect.

only in the eyes of god will we see who we truly are, and only by spending adequate time with him-through prayers will we get close to him to see how we are reflected in his eyes

The Bible says that we are to make righteous judgments. We are to call sin what it is, sin, that which falls short of the glory of God.In the end, God judges everything.
