Saying goodbyes... Today is the viewing of my auntie at Holy Angels. She died on Feb 13. Just before Valentines day. One of her granddaughter wrote she will be reunited with her husband that had passed for more than 20yrs now. I'm weak in saying goodbyes. As much as possible i would rather say "so long". How can i say she had taught me a lesson in life. That she was a role model. Imagine raising 8 and survived her widowhood. That she only found one true love in all her life and never remarried. She was generous and kind to offer me to live in her house during my confusion days. Because i didn't want to move here in San Jose, but stay in Union City. Because my college was just there. If i had heed her advice my life would have been great by now and not suffer as much. Thank you auntie for making a big difference in my life. I will surely miss you. God bless and happiness there in heaven w/ God and uncle...  Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other... |

Oh wow! Tess, she died on February 13, the day, my Dad died as well...(in 1994 though), and only now is the viewing? It's already the 28th of February....Wheeewww! that's a lot of time to wait just for the viewing... When is the burial? or will she be cremated? God bless her soul...She deserves to rest in peace..Just call me ELZ

Saying goodbye is not an easy thing to do...at least you're Aunt is now in God's dwelling place Ate... It's very hard for me to say goodbye. I was afraid to go and say my farewell and her youngest daughter even called me up to say something. Fear stopped me... Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

The viewing was so touching all the grandchildren and the father all said wonderful eulogies. I got scared in going up and saying something. She will be buried tomorrow... Tajane, Thanks for the wishes. I had a late reaction. First was in shock. Then only this morning started bawling my eyes out. it was the same when my lola died. The grandkiddies were laughing at how she would pinch them for every birthday like 14yrs old 14 pinches... Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

Reminds me about my mom pinching my high school friends. A bit embarrassed for them, but hilarious at the same time. Your auntie is beautiful. Sis, Thank you for the kindest word ever. I felt like i let her down and her younger daughter. By not saying what was in my heart. Na duwag ako going up there. And she had called my name out.
