Why Do People Go 2 Church ??

Because mama and grandma asked them to... every morning, every night before sleep, they were being told. God will be angry if they dont and they will be thrown to hell. It's very hot there since fire is all around.

BUT JESUS SAID...
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10

when i was young the reason i got o church is to be able to wear my "best sunday dress" and hang out with my friends. my mom would give me money for the offering but i would use half to buy me some sweets and just give the other half.

later on in my life i got involved with born again christians and understood what christianity is about, i liked it so i became a practicing christian for a very long time. then something happened- actually countless things happened then i decided i dont wanna practice any form of religion anymore. so no, i dont go to church.

if i get thrown to hell later im sure i wont be bored coz i will meet a lot of people i know over there.

Because the most important commandment is "Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength." What better way to follow this than to obey the commandment: remember the sabbath. What better venue to honor the sabbath than by going to church on the sabbath!

You told me about that ninang If i dont feel the joy of going, i dont. There's a christian group in Folk Arts theater which i really love and nothing compares to it. It was where i tried to fill my soul when i was in manila. Although spiritual activities contributed a little amount of emotional comfort during my worst moments there, the leading was definitely a fulfillment towards the kind of life im enjoying now- it's peaceful. It's been several months that i have never attended church. IM TOO CHOOSY WITH THE KIND OF CHURCH I ATTEND and only very few are reliable- when it comes to credibility and spirituality.

oh Janey thank you so much for giving us some important and distinct information on different reasons that church goers really have It's refreshing and we got our own reason but the main thing mostly is to nourish our spiritual lives.
