Save The Best For Last....


I never once gave up
believing love would arrive
like I knew summer would come
after a long rainy season.
Love or just the thought of it
kept my heart alive and thriving,
loneliness loomed at night
but not long enough to leave
hope languishing.
The past has its way of
fluttering the future,
the way a downpour spoils
a bright sunny day..
did i falter in my faith?
maybe once or twice perhaps
but in my heart I knew that
you'd be coming.

For I was blessed with a growing
knowledge...

Love is out there
it's more than just a
fleeting vision,
hands clasped together;
souls leaping now and down
into the heavens.

I knew one day that
you would come..
to sing the love songs
I have planted long ago.
Take the rest of what
I have to offer;
Little things amassed
through all these years
the best of me that
I have saved for you.

So it was I always knew.

Thanks my friend..well, he would always say that we`re both lucky and i agree ...sometimes i would say i`m luckier coz he has a beautiful heart, who knows and shows what true love is all about...and i have all the best for him just how he gives me his best..
