You`re Dead If you Don`t Live Life!!!  When I think about the best success story movies, "The Pursuit of Happiness" starring Will Smith is on top of my list. The movie is based on a true story of a man who made a wrong business decision which resulted to his wife walking out on him. He lost his house, his car, his bank account and is forced to lived out in a shelter home with his . With his determination, faith, perseverance and diligence, he finally got a job at a stock brokerage firm. There is a great lesson that is learned in this movie and it truly shares the struggles of everyday life. It's real and it's inspirational!!! The movie is very touching and is close to home for me. I am sure it is too for many people particularly those who are or have been "down on their luck". Once upon a time in my life I had a string of bad luck one after the other and another and so it goes on. I hit rock bottom... reached the point where years of skills, knowledge or experience become instantly useless. I was helpless. I had no one to turn to and no where to run to either. ( Good thing there`s this one good-hearted friend of mine who was ready to help). And when I tried to explain what happened, no one believed me. I remember a friend telling me "no one gets all that bad luck" while I was at the pit lying flat on my back. Some people can really be cruel at a time when you needed compassion. I guess it's human nature. In life there are no scripts. No re-takes like in the movies. Life tests us constantly. We make our best moves and use what we know to strike or move ahead and frequently get knocked down all over again. We all make mistakes. We all fall no matter how careful we are with our decisions or actions. We may strive to do our best but some times our best doesn't spare us from life's challenges. This is life. You might want to believe that you have total control of your life but it isn't true. When the guy UP there decides to switch your control panel from manual to auto-control it's out of our hands. All we can do is hope that we got a strong seat belt and a good airbag. Ahhhh life. Some days are good and some days are bad. And some times when it gets bad it really gets sooooo bad. But no matter how bad things are it's no reason to give up. Running away doesn't help either because we only grow after we pick up ourselves and face the music again. What's life if we don't live it? Just sharing!!!luv ya all!!! |

Sis, I'm facing one of the hardest obstacle right now. Kung pagsusubok this is the cake!!! I thought last year of having that heartbroken and completely wanting it to all end. Yes, i believe in those string of bad luck. It's like i'm a maget for it. Once i was bitter. But, now it's a different outlook. The kind you think i haven't yet live and followed my dream and this.... totally numb. That is life, but we can change our life by giving ourselves inspiration and only ourselves can do that... Don`t give up sis!! There are more unlucky ones around us..good luck!!
