please HELP!

I am working as an ICU-CCU nurse in one of the prestigious hospitals in Quezon City, Philippines and i am greatly affected with the condition of one of our patients. He is JURG KAGE STAUSS, 72 years old, Swiss national admitted due to pneumonia, conscious but hooked to a mechanical ventilator. He was abandoned by his wife and left without medications and hospitals debts. I honestly don't know where or how to ask for help.. please, if there is anything you can do, contact/message me and i'll be happy to assist and give more details. Thank You very much. God bless!

hello Madam! Why don't you call the Swiss Embassy in Manila? They do take care of their citizens all over the world, and they can arrange for him to go back to his country, if his wife has left him forever now! btw, what is her nationality, and why did she abandone him, if u know the answer! lol but really u r great with ur concern about him!

Sulie has a good suggestion. Hoewever, you might also try to get an appointment with the Hospital Administrator, and ask him what he suggests. Good Luck.

What are you doing when you lose the most track of time? This is what you should spend the most time doing.

as I can see, the problems is consisting of 3 factors:
1. The financial part of it, which I still think the embassy should solve it either through contacting their government or searching for his relatives to do their share of their obligation!
2. His Medical situation which you can only leave between the hands of Almighty God, and you shouldn't feel guilty for it, if his doctors have done their best and there is nothing else to do!
3. Your personal reaction towards the whole situation, which shows a very noble reaction and a responsible attitude, but no one expecting you to do more than you can! and i think you should look at it from a professional point of view rather than a personal one, otherwise you will suffer a lot for this case and every similar one, as long as u r on ur duty, and i don't see you as a guilty person regarding this aspect! You already have done what you should do!
