Drive Smart

And you'll be saving dough!!!! You can only cut back on so much at some point, you will have to fill that gas tank. The Car Care Council has a few tips to make using your car more afffordable.
* Combine your errands.
* Lighten the load by removing anything unnecessary from you car turn (leave the spare tire! just in case if you have flat tire)
* Stay within the speed limit - driving more that 60 miles per hour has a negative effect on gas mileage.
* Check your gas cap about 17 percent of cars and trucks on the road have loose, damaged or missing caps, meaning that 147 million gallons of gas evaporat every year.
* Part it idling wastes gas and damages air quality.
