2008 Year In Review  

thecoolprince 12/27/2008 2:59 pm	Today, I thought i just write quickly how i think and felt about 2008 now that it will soon be history making way for the arrival of the new Year 2009. I have to say that it was a very good year for me despite the ups and downs but I have come to accept that twist and turns will always be there and are going to be a part of our lives whether we like or not. 2008 to me began with winter weather from the north showering my January with light snow and a touch of sunshine by day mixed with cool breezy(sometimes frigid hehehe) nights. Then came the arrival of spring, a season worth cherishing. Weather wise, i love spring and the feeling of rebirth. Then before i knew it, summer had arrived and it sure was worth the experience when you have the bright sun shining and guiding u to another day and the moon at night giving u hope for a better and new day to come. After summer had passed, autumn came by and transfigured the colors of the leaves of the trees that surrounded me. Green leaves transformed into bright orange, red, pink, yellow before they retired and became one with the wind. It was a memorable time for me and I learned a lot during this time. Now, it is winter and I reflect back and imagine all the things and events that happened. The fun, excitement, love won and love lost, friendships gained and friendship farewells, the smiles and sweet hello's, and the sad and rainy days/nights. But through it all, I am going to be alright and very much with an optimistic worldly view,attitude,and state of mind that 2009 will be a better and more adventurous year to look forward to.
