"do we ever lose Love or does it still exists within us, long after the bearer has left? i think when we receive the gift of love from someone, it remains with us as we remember the joy while learning from the experience through the pain of separation.. like life & death, love & loss are just two sides of the same coin -- one can't exist without the other" SeNse of HoNey we all have different ways of dealing with the challenges of life, including loss. some are resilient and loss won't bother them a bit. others just immediately at the moment of experiencing that loss goes to the abyss and will never recover oneself and forever be in suffering and agony. some of those who are on the extreme of going to the abyss forever can't move on and remain attached to loving that someone. for others that seems to be so pathetic and morbid to live a life like that - unwilling to love someone again and forever in quandary. but that has to be respected because they prefer to live a life like that. they cant live the life we have and either we can live their lives for them. others find ways to sublimate that loss of someone or loss of loving that someone. sublimate such as caring for the poor or spending time at the orphanage or volunteering time off from work to something that will distract them temporarily from that loss. the ability to love is forever within us, it never goes away as long as we are alive. others may choose not to express or share that love again. we can't change them or even fault them for the way they want to live the rest of their lives. "no man is an island, " but still we have many degree of differences that one should be allowed to live their own lives without contempt from us or characterizing the way they are or without us being patronizing - urging them to live the way as we are or within our standards and norms of expectations. but for all we know, they maybe just loving someone unexpressively, silently or passively and yet loving someone the same way - at a distant or by their actions. so love remains with a different method of loving someone! love and loss could be two sides of the same coin if you are nostalgic and always yearning to dwell on the things that could never be recaptured or experienced in the same manner again. everyone's love experiences are different from each other. each bring different levels of passion, energy. caring, and enthusiasm. as in living, there are many ways to live. others are just like me who are optimistic in their approaches in life and just willingly or even unknowingly ignored those things they don't have control of. others experience or see a loss as a bereavement. for me its an opportunity to be appreciative of how the way that person had touched my life, and yet unwilling to suffer and then moving on as quickly as i can after that moment of bereavement or contemplation of that loss is over. sorry that i have to create a blog to answer your blog ms SeNse of HoNey. as you can see, my answer is too lengthily. have a nice 4th of july weekend out there in new york! |

*** Uhmm'..If I may , whether Mr. Antonio was in - love or not yet been in love yet , if he's in denial stage , at the moment , lolz ( just kidding! ) what's more important is that you were able to express & share your inner sentiments of contemplating if love does exists or was it lost due to a sudden frustration of someone we want to love '...* I for myself , believes that love or the notion of being in love still exists in all of us '...It's important to express love be it as friendship, maternal or love for someone that's too intense to ignore ... its importance exists in our emotions , like hate & fear all of these emotions will always resurface in our being humans , but if we only look at ourselves why we lost and then we seek love is like looking for hope for all of us to be able to feel that someone loves us back, emotionally, we feel we belong and because it gives us total comfort & security we are still yearning to feel the contentment and the satisfaction of having someone to love '... And for some '..we even go to the extent of willing to live & die for love . Guess for me the best part of loving someone is to love someone .. unconditionally '...and hope it goes both ways .. if I lost you then '...at least at a very short time I was able to make u happy, and you in turn made me one ...Hope people learn to be patient when it comes to loving someone , the beauty of understanding that special someone in many ways 'the beauty of accepting his whole being, just like his weaknesses, as well as mine' ...the beauty of nurturing friendship both ways , as it grows gradually into love '...if we love someone , let there be no terms or conditions '..and if we lose them ..just smile and instead of thinking ahead that this wont work out '..think of it as something you can cherish'..something wonderful you have gain when you've shown genuine interest in caring for him ' but the thrill of having him near you, with you '..Plus the beautiful smiles that you felt together , of feeling you made him or her happy even for a short time '..were once nice memories to ponder on as we move on for the next one , that is if you're ready ..? * * Maraming salamat po '..and nice to read your blogs..thanks po ulit ha for sharing * MR.
