A Knight In Shining Armor
Men typically do not wear armour these days unless in the police or military forces where wearing a bullet proof vest may be necessary. Men however, may still wear tights, typically being gay.

However, today's women may refer to a Knight in Shining Armor as their "perfect man" who will rescue them from their mundane lives.

The night in shining armor, that’s what you are,
You’d protect me, if near of if far,
You’re my every single wish upon a star,
Shaggy and long dirty blonde hair,
Melts me with his wicked green stare,
He makes me feel like I don’t have to care,
To care about what others think, or why they stare,
Because he’s my night in shinning armor,
If disguised in a librarian, or a farmer,
Whatever you are, you have to be a charmer,
To charm the likes of me takes great skill,
To be able to see me at my worst and love me still,
And so far no one can compare to my daydreams,
I however, can wait, no matter how hopeless it may seem,
To find that very boy of my dreams.

Yet, many women find someone who could be that man but don't take the time to fully get to know him or make a serious error in judgement or are not willing to spend a little time polishing a little dull armor. Afterall you want us to accept damaged goods, LOL.
