With a partner, engage in these fun 2-minute debates. Students A firmly believe in the opinions on the left, Students B strongly support the opinions on the right. Change partners often. A woman’s place is in the home. vs. Women should never be tied to the home. It is OK for women to fight in the army. vs. Wars are no places for women. A man should always hold a door open for a lady.vs. That’s sexist. Women should buy flowers for men. vs. Men would rather have something useful. Women make the best leaders. vs. Men have always been the best leaders. The word “mankind” should become “personkind”. vs. That’s going too far. Men should never cry. vs. There’s nothing wrong with men crying. Women should never read maps. vs. Women are good at reading maps. Men who wear cosmetics look good. vs. A man who wears make-up is not a man.

Women should never read maps. vs. Women are good at reading maps. shocks Cel ... I cannot read road maps!!! but then my dau is an expert in this arena... mom vs. anak When I  low my friends et al give me energy.
