A Visit to Grandma For no apparent reason, I decided to make a trip to where I was born in Minnesota in the United States. You see, I currently live in Florida, US, and I have too much idle time on my hands. So, I was feeling antsy, and wanted to see snow. When I flew into Minnesota, the temperature was at freezing and there was snow everywhere. I got a rental car and checked into a hotel. OK, I saw the snow ... now what do I do. I had made no plans. I don't really know anyone in Minnesota anymore because I was 7 years old when our family moved to Florida. But there was one person I knew that was there ... my Grandma. She died last year, and she's now buried at a cemetary. Once I got to her grave, I really didn't know what to do, other than shiver & shake from the cold. I only wish I could've given her a gift of flowers to lay on her grave. But I had no gift to bring (pa-rump-a-pum-pum). So, I made her an angel in the snow!

Taking the time to visit her is more than enough to show you missed and loved her. Here's wishing you the best this coming 2008!!! May your holidays be warm, full of laughter and happiness. A toast to a better year, may it bring all you desire. Merry Chhristmas!!!
