Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.....


I just posted in FB yesterday the topic of PRIDE, and it really dawned on me how people, specially women are very particular about their looks. They use all sorts of apps, filters, and what have you to_ make them look prettier than they actually do. Talking about confidence and self esteem. But why? Why can't we focus more on our inner beauty than the outside? Why do we need the " LIKES" and s as a sign of people's approval, rather than them reading the depth of our captions in the blogs? Have you noticed that people in FB looks straight on the pictures and not reading the captions at all? Is that a sign that people are mostly judgmental by just looking at the outside? Your opinion please...

 To me such modification and editing of the photos just shows how women can be vain. Looks like they don't want to grow old and accept the fact that physical change is more important, than what is inside. Or that it could also be a way of updating or letting people know they're up to the trends of time, hence keep exploring the apps that would make them more beautiful. It could also point out that women will not be satisfied of what they have or what they have become. Where I belong? Am being me, up to you to take it or leave it.

You are absolutely right Jane...For me, what you see, is what you get...with or without make up, underdressed, overly dressed. Lost/gained weight, sexy, chubby...It is what it is...I don't even use filters...One of the rare times I posted a snap chat edited by my BFF's daugther, I even looked like a cartoon character...

 My name is Jack, I don't think I was using this site before, but I'm not 100% sure, who knows?

I'd never take any botox injections, I know people who have and they do not look very nice, especially after a while.
