Another Case of Que Sera, Sera?

Where did time go? Wasn't it just Christmas and New Year a while ago? Didn't we wait too long for a new beginning? But, exactly, what do we want with our new beginnings? What are our goals and expectations? I was working since December 31, 2020 and will be off tomorrow, the 6th of January, 2021. Wow! I was working in between I tell you what...On New Year's Eve, I just watched the celebration in Times Square, New York City, which was mostly virtual on TV. I wasn't fascinated at . Totally different from the past 29 that I lived here in the USA..And come think that I live in Texas, which is an hour behind NYC, so technically, it was only :00 p.m. in our place, and I was already in bed, slept through with the coming year. No fancy preparations. No superstitious rituals, unlike the past when I would follow most of what people believed that brings us GOOD LUCK. I don't know about you, but, I guess, I got tired hoping and wishing that I am just coping with what comes my way and deal with it. I just have to do my best as usual. .

As usual, I have to edit the post many times because FFF removes particles and other words

with you back, the spirit of the site gets lifted..so welcome back after a short furlough...

let me say again, the hail of the new year was indeed less exciting compared to past years, though many anticipated the change, the celebration got halted in a way because of the covid spread fear...am thinking ahead in that will it be same for the coming end of this 2021 or get worse? am kinda scared to even think about it...what i can do now is make the most of what is present...including finding that lucky companion, can't even say if it's for a long time...or life-time...lol

I really admire you Jane for NOT giving up on love...I hope and pray that Canada is the place...Too bad, opportunities would have been better sans the pandemic

old age will not stop me to long having this someone, to speak with, have laughs and become part of my days, share what's there..it makes a better memory to look back when the best part of my life hasn't been as lovely..now that i can say, am having my "ME" time...

I know of someone in her 80's who got married in Wisconsin, USA...So, there you go...you have a very long way to go, Jane.

May the new year bring back the normal way of life although it is impossible for the moment.

Well its after new year but it feels like that the spirit of 2020 is still in the air..Some morbid thoughts there. I'll just keep on praying every night that this situation will get better in the coming days.

Anyway, its only the beginning of the year, there's still 11months to be hopeful for.

Never too late. HAPPY NEW YEAR ELZ and to everybody here in FFF..
