Dark Skies......

Year 2020 is almost over, and most of us cannot wait welcome the New Year 2021! Obviously, the Covid-19 pandemic is the reason for the worldwide sufferings. Only the Giant Techs and Big companies (specially makers of the PPEs) and food commodities and other things we label as "essentials" made so much . It has been a laughing matter that Americans had Toilet Paper and Paper Towel shortage, of all things. People worry about them than worrying about their jobs. But of course, there is this thing called "Unemployment" government benefits, which are sometimes higher than the actual take home paychecks for the ordinary worker.On top of the pandemic is the political turmoil and civil unrest/ street protests in some states and cities.And even at this time, the present US President Trump has not conceded to the supposed to be President-elect Biden. Lawsuits are still in place due to alleged election fraud.The whole world's economy is down at the moment. Airlines/luxury cruises and tourism are at its lowest, and millions of people lost their jobs, including my . So many people died, but mostly attributed the pandemic. Looks like even those who died of heart attack and other illnesses were counted as covid-19 deaths for as long as they tested positive.

Dark skies? Indeed, for now, YES! But there is hope for a better year, and we are eagerly looking forward it. God Be The Glory!

 i see the dark skies a bit in a thinning cover..maybe because the covid vaccine is being rolled out and pretty soon there and to us, too..am excited to go home if i can and watching or waiting as well, for the border to open between canada and usa so i can gallop into the other side or north america...relatives and friends would be a busy itinerary if everything gets alright..

 why is it that each time I go back to my posts, some words all of a sudden are missing? They are okay the first time the blog come out, but when I come back, they are mostly grammatically impaired.

 Is this the reason why I cannot log on to my old "eb1209" handle even though I can still view my main blog page if I google it? They said that eb1209 does not exists anymore, and non-retrievable, but why is it that I can still see my posts?

had the same problem too..it's a technical problem this site is having...commands to repair errors are not done..must be because they lack technical support or that their program is not being corrected anymore....you just have to keep on editing or re-editing..

that is a major concern alright...they own rights over your published blogs here, despite seeing it in your other handle...that is what i only know...why they say your other handle do not exists anymore, i could surmise that part needs a programmer's revision, which the site may no longer have...

 @godiva if it's solely for the blog you come here, why not try connectingsingles - the blog is much more active, it is an American site but with many from Europe and Asia too, and blogs may be a little more sane now that Biden is finally declared... so that people can hopefully stop arguing about politics. There is a poetry blog there too if that interests you.

 When all this is over, I will try to be less of a cynic and work on the appreciation of the goodness of man. I've seen better people at the height of this pandemic especially the frontliners (like you). A 'healed world' worth waiting. My regards ELZ..

Thanks for the recommendation..I have so much on my plate already...Too tired to do that. I work 12-hour shift, and I deal with all types of people and their diseases..I am just here to support my co-bloggers/friends from the old, active FFF..
