Friends With Benefits: What's your take on this?

Things happen, because 2 people agree to do it, whether the original intention was just to experience unusual practices, or two individuals are either drunk, or vulnerable to temptations because they always have each other for comfort and support. Such as those friends with benefits....Yes, it happens, at times, on the spur of the moments. But wait!...Most of the time, the guys won't take the "incident" seriously, and may just take advantage of the situation and will engage for more "incidents". Meanwhile, women who are naturally emotional, will be attached to these men, leading to their serious involvement and expectations. Next, they will take on the role of real girlfriends, become possessive, and dangerously jealous of any other women that these guys may have already been related to or just beginning to get serious with...So dangerous that these women will be so obsessed, combative, destructive, and worse scenario, may even take somebody's life. This is due to the feeling of rejection, abused, played on, and betrayal....Very rare that it's the other way around...although, men can be victims too...So, with all these, do you think friendship will ever return to the original level? or is it permanently doomed? Remember the saying: "HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED"...Be very careful....

I know it is hard to fathom, but, it really happens in the real world...not just in the movies..

indeed, it is easier said than done. Lately, I have a friend who went through this and boy! Oh boy, she went crazy and involved a lot of people and made the guy miserable. I can understand her pain because she felt abused and rejected but still, she knew from the get go that there is nothing serious about it.

Tinkz, you mean to say, when you know all long that the outcome is going to be a dead-end, it's still okay to expect and yet fight?

Put everything out in the open from the get go. Don't want fatal attractions, drama, jealousy, false emotions etc.. etc.. etc... It is what it is...
