Now, I found peace within Me......
It was in my heart, more than my head, that I held that kind of ill feelings which started from one thing that led to another...I know, this is not the first time, and not with the same person, as a matter of fact, from different persons. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming, because situations can be frustrating knowing that my intentions were good, but either I was misunderstood (as usual) or that others blow it out of proportion.. I don't know, but it sure hits me sometimes,( I'm a human being too) specially if the ones involved are the people that I cared about for many years. It is also disappointing to know that I failed to realize just how much I didn't know the person(s) and how much they don't know me. It is never good to assume..I am not to be accused of being arrogant, for I definitely am not...It's just that, I do take some time to settle my own disappointments, my expectations or the lack of it. One thing for sure, it's true, when we keep that "anger" or ill feelings to ourselves, they tend to eat us up disturb our inner peace.....Lately, I decided to regain my peace, maybe not by regaining old relationships, but to lessen, if not, totally become "enemy-free"... Ahhh!!!.Peace, you just don't know how dear you are to me... |

You are right, Jane...You are right... and I've said this more than once before, from the priest's sermon during the mass when I was younger " WE ONLY NEED ONE TRUE FRIEND IN THIS LIFETIME...ONE WHO CAN BE WITH US, WHATEVER HAPPENS, WHO CAN WITHSTAND OUR IMPERFECTION AND VICE-VERSA, NO MATTER HOW FAR OR NEAR WE ARE, UNCONDITIONALLY..."
