I was in that situation over 3 years ago, the pain doesn't go away you just learn to live with it and some days it intensifies.

letting go sometimes takes a very long time. We tend to cling to good memories. Moving on is just as hard. But eventually we have to let go.

My mother passed away last year.. it was all so sudden. I have to admit.. I envy those who are given time to mourn, laugh, cry and enjoy the company of their dying loved ones... even for just a few days or few hours. My mother was my biggest fan and my all time companion... it was very hard to lose her so quickly. Had I known she would have left us that day, I would have dropped everything I was doing to spend that time with her. Some people are lucky..

The hardest part about growing is letting go and moving away from our comfort zones and moving on with something untried and new.
