crazy He looked at me like “You’re crazy” I looked at him like “You’re probably right” But I’d give up sanity any day Before I’d give in to this fight. I smiled and walked towards the path less travelled. He asked, “Will you walk it alone?” I looked back at him one last time to remember “I need to be on my own.” To enjoy life we must be a little bit crazy A lot motivated and never too lazy. Excuses are useless and the right way is hazy But mountains seem small when you’re a little bit crazy. I can dance on a park bench or sing in the streets If it’s madness controlling my voice and my feet I wouldn’t hear whispers or be threatened by stares My actions wouldn’t be governed by anyone’s cares I’d throw away the rules so I’d learn to be free. And for once in my life I’d know the real me If I’m crazy they say, then it’s crazy I’ll be If crazy’s the way to live your life free. He looked at me like “You’re crazy” And I said to him “My plan succeeded” Then he asked me “Can I go crazy too?” And I said “Of course! You need it.” So we packed up our minds and sent them away We won’t need them for a while. Sometimes not thinking is the only way.  ~ Jolielaide  |
