presumptions of life

life teaches us few things
but the things that we learn are often
hard to take
hard to bounce back from
but if we sit
and dwell on the thoughts
of what would have
been
then we will
get nowhere in life
to move on is to grow
to move on is to learn
people can presume to be transparent
and portray themselves how they want
but the only thing that matters
is yourself.
being honest to yourself and others
treat others
the way you would like to be treated
yourself..
