"TRUSTING GOD"

TRUST HIM

"Why me?"

How many times have we asked this of ourselves?

There are times when we feel the world has turned its back on us. We
experience situations that for us, seem hopeless whichever way we
turn. We wonder what is wrong with us that these things happen.

Brothers, there is nothing wrong with us. Really, nothing is the
matter. There is a purpose why the Lord has allowed these things to
touch us. Yes, you read it right, there is a purpose. A higher and
greater one. God wants us to trust Him in all seasons of our lives ‒
this is the purpose.

Experiencing full joy in the midst of turmoil is not impossible. It
is within our reach. It is in trusting God and leaning on Him at all
times, in letting His power work in us.

Trusting God has always been the key. Our own efforts fail us now
and then, but the Lord never falters. He can surely deliver us from
all our pains. It is all a matter of trust.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge
Him and He will make your paths straight." What a wonderful
privilege! Only to trust Him and He will direct us? If this is the
case why exert any more self-effort? We need only to trust Him and
His saving grace will make everything alright.

Well now. No more frowns whenever trials come our way. Wave at the
trial and say "Hello! I trust a God bigger than you!" Smile because
it will be another experience of trusting God and feeling His grace
abounding in us. Come, trust in God and see ourselves lifted up
above our problems as we learn to trust in God. After all, we are
meant to be more than conquerors, aren't we?

God will surely make all things ‒ everything ‒ beautiful in His
time. But we must learn to trust His time.
