"That's all I'm gonna say about that."

It seems there are many opinions as to whether a black man or a woman are qualified to become President of the United States of America.

Uncle Wolfie has a BedTime story to share with all of you about that.

Once upon a time, when Wolfie was a little boy in the 3rd grade he had a teacher.

This teacher made the BIGGEST impact upon his life of any teacher that he'd had up to that point in school or ever WOULD have.

This teacher taught him that all livings things have a PURPOSE and VALUE.

This teacher INSPIRED him to read books and to write poetry.

This teacher taught him about COMPASSION and what EMPATHY truly means.

This teacher MOTIVATED him to take an interest in the Arts; painting, architecture and music.

This teacher taught him not to HATE those that persecuted him, rather to PRAY for them.

This teacher just happened to also be the ONLY black teacher that he would EVER have in all his 13 years of schooling.

She was also a female and her GrandParents had been slaves in the South.

The moral of this story is that greatness comes from WITHIN, regardless of ones sex or gender.

Like Forrest Gump said "That's all I'm gonna say about that."

Yes, teachers can have a greater impact upon their students than even they realize.

Goodness will never consider the color of the skin. It is something that comes from within regardless of skin color. Hope I will have the same impact as Wolfie's teacher in the lives of the students I met.

Jense,

A good teacher should Challenge, Inspire and Reward her students with praise.

If you can do these things, LEARNING will take place.

Good teachers never die they just fade away
