Disaster Dairies What used to be food that we wish our moms and dads would bring us home during childhood are now dangerous for human consumption. Such an oxymoron situation so to speak. While in the past dairy products like milk, formulas, cheese, butter, candies etc , , are foods that provide nutrients essential for including infants and adults as well. Its getting to be a contradicting situation at present times as WHO had announced the possibility of dairy products tainted with chemicals not fit for human consumption or might cause kidney infections like urolithiasis or stones. It all started when a significant number of infants in China were observed to show symptoms or diagnosed with calculi. This became alarming starting the latter part of 2007. But because China was already starting to impress the world with the holding of the Beijin Olympics, the Chinese government exerted all their efforts to cover this up. Of course this would cause tarnishing the image of their country as a healthy place ideal for the holding of the world olympic games. During the course of hiding the mysterious death of several of their infants fed with notorious formulas, the problem had blown out to major proportions that would include other countries as well. What was the real cause? This reminded me of the movie Soylent Green during the 70’s starring the late Charleton Heston. It’s actually a futuristic film in which it presented a situation that assumed of a world and its environment slowly desructed by man’s negligence hand in hand with the continuous creation of newer technologies making life easier for human beings. On the contraty what happened eventually was the world became a place for survival of the fittest. There was a scene where a factory processed dead people and manufacture them in the form of cookies intended for human consumption. The present situation or what is happening right now would eventually relate to this movie but the main reason for the slow destruction of our world is because of man’s greed for more wealth. And perhaps this would start from China. I can’t say that their greedy businessmen are the main culprits because everywhere in this world abounds people who are insatiable regardless of what happened to their fellowmen. It’s okay to put poison like Melamine to formula as long as it will increase protein content , adjust cost savings, and increase revenues. In the same manner as lead for toys and formaldehyde for white rabbit candies. Man’s greed will always be a major factor. Not to mention yet the Global Warning phenomenon and the Financial Tsunami in the USA. May God bless us the opportunity to ponder or enlighten humanity about our attitude towards excessive and insatiable desire for more money

wow, that's really hard to swallow. Greed is worse than ever before just to have money??? In the expense of a human life. Where is the sacredness??? [I God is pure love...
