What's Wrong With Globe?

This is my personal experience.

My globe broadband service was cut off more than a month ago for unknown reasons. For more than one month, I followed up my case religiously everyday to their customer service with this number 919-8888. All I got is an assurance that within 24 to 48 hours everything will be fixed. This assurance went on for more than a month. I emailed my case to their website and hoping that they will take action. But again all I got is a reply that was automated and obviously generic. I finally decided to proceed to their globe office at Megamall and talk personally to a human Globe person. I waited for two hours for my turn as the office was so crowded perhaps from subscribers carrying bags of incompetency complaints. Until it was my turn and heard again the same assurance that within 24 hours, they will fix the broadband. It was futile. I gave up and instead used a dial up network. Then about two weeks ago, another globe problem surfaced. This time, my landline got dead, in other words, no broadband services and no more landline. Until I received a billing from them charging me P3,000 and not without a payment deadline.

I am now using a PLDT landline which was installed yesterday while my DSL will be activated two days from now.

I tried to call globe earlier and follow up my case. Again I heard that familiar assurance that within 24 hours everything will be fixed and would like to apologize for the inconvenience.
