I don't think you need to ask Him that; He always does to noble people, and being an educator qualifies you as one. But I joined you in thanking Him for another school year for that would mean vacation time for me. Amen. "Back to Present and into MyWorld"

allow me to post it here. Kuwait News Water assists excellent brain function KUWAIT (KUNA): Kinesiology Researcher Dr Mona Al-Gharib on Sunday urged students, exams’ observers and correctors to practice mental sports and drink large amounts of water. In an interview with Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) in conjunction with second semester final exams, Dr Al-Gharib; an academic at Kuwaiti University (KU), said that water was essential for students and teachers alike. She stated that drinking large amounts of water before and after exams would help the two hemispheres of the brain to connect, and eventually lead to transmitting information between body cells and the brain, adding that allowing students to drink water during the exam process would facilitate the best thinking and creative methods in solving exams. She added that during the process of checking papers, teachers must frequently drink water because it greatly assists the correction process and enables the teacher give everybody their fair share of grades. Dr Al-Gharib said in this context that some people complain that some schools do not provide water service to students, arguing that students could drink water before or after the exam. She noted that this approach was “wrong”, due to the fact that exams represented tension to students, a thing that would lead to producing tension-related hormones such as Adrenaline and Cortisone, channeling the blood to the lower and upper parts of the body as a natural reaction, which would negatively affect the extent of cooperation between the two halves of the brain in thinking and analysis. Exercise Dr Al-Gharib also urged teachers and students to exercise the 26 mental sport movements, where studies showed that these movements would contribute in restoring self-confidence, eradicating fears, dyslexia, spelling and mathematical errors, improving the perception of foreign languages and enhancing memory and concentration among others. “Whenever the teacher enters the exam room tensed, it automatically creates tension among students, which will adversely affect the results of the examinations.” She advised the students to draw the X sign on their palms and focus their attention on it and then close their eyes; as the sign represented the 26 movements of the mental sport, which would lead for the two halves of the brain to reconnect. She concluded by saying that there were other tips that students and the rest of the society should be aware of regarding the methods of studying and success in life, such as positive imagination, eradicating negativity and pessimism, love and tolerance among family members among other things. Kinesiology, also known as Human Kinetics, is the science of human movement. It focuses on how the body functions and moves. A kinesiological approach applies scientific and evidence based medical principles towards the analysis, preservation and enhancement of human movement in all settings and populations. Kinesiologists work in research, the fitness industry, clinically, and in industrial environments. It is not to be confused with Applied Kinesiology, an alternative medicine technique.
